Yangjiang Municipal Health Bureau has 1 1 functional departments, as well as the discipline inspection team and supervision office of the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision stationed in the Municipal Health Bureau (co-located with the Party Committee Office of the Municipal Health Bureau) and the office of the Municipal Citizens' Voluntary Blood Donation Committee under the Municipal Health Bureau.
The main functions of Yangjiang Health Planning Bureau are as follows:
(a) the implementation of national, provincial and municipal health policies and laws and regulations, formulate plans and policies for the development of health undertakings in our city and organize their implementation.
(two) to undertake the responsibility of comprehensive coordination of food safety and organize the investigation and handling of major food safety accidents.
(three) to coordinate the allocation of health resources and guide the preparation and implementation of regional health planning.
(four) planning and guiding the construction of rural health and community health service system, responsible for the comprehensive management and supervision of maternal and child health care and health education.
(five) responsible for disease prevention and control, and coordinate the relevant departments to implement prevention, control and intervention of major diseases.
(six) to formulate health emergency plans and measures, be responsible for monitoring, early warning and risk assessment of public health emergencies, guide the implementation of prevention, control and emergency treatment of public health emergencies, and release information on emergency treatment of public health emergencies.
