Meishan provides free medical services for migrant workers from other provinces.

In order to ensure that migrant workers go out to work with peace of mind after the Spring Festival in 2020, township hospitals and community health service centers in the city have set up 137 free health service points to provide free health services for migrant workers before going out.

Free health services are mainly targeted at migrant workers who have health service needs after the Spring Festival in 2020. Those who are still under isolation observation or home medical observation will not be included in the service target for the time being. At the same time, according to the principle of convenience nearby, the qualified family doctor team in the township health center or community health service center where the residence is located provides free health services. Services include consultation on novel coronavirus epidemic history, temperature, blood pressure, heart rate measurement, respiratory symptoms screening, occupational health protection suggestions, etc.

Since February 4th, the Health and Wellness Commission and the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of our city have widely publicized and informed through governments at all levels, official WeChat account, employment recruitment network and public service platform for migrant workers to guide migrant workers in need to receive health services at their places of residence.

Migrant workers who need health services should receive health services at the township hospitals or community health service centers in their places of residence within 3 days before they travel, and issue follow-up records of the health status of migrant workers and returnees in Sichuan Province after the Spring Festival in 2020 as needed.

As of February 10, the city has provided free medical services to 23,229 migrant workers who have returned home from outside the province. In addition, the Municipal Health and Wellness Committee also reminded migrant workers who need to receive free health services to wear masks consciously, arrange their time reasonably, avoid crowding and receive health services in an orderly manner.
