Gree has successively developed four "international leading" technologies in the field of household air conditioning, such as three-cylinder two-stage variable displacement compressor technology, two-stage enthalpy-increasing variable frequency compressor technology, distributed air supply technology and one-hertz variable frequency control technology, which have been widely used in several series of air conditioning products. In addition, Gree actively independently develops air conditioning core technologies such as Gree cold outdoor unit, constant temperature defrosting technology and two-way fresh air ventilation technology for extreme use environment, special areas and air quality.
After a long period of accumulation, Gree Electric has applied for 53,340 domestic patents, including 250 invention patents11and 752 international patents18, ranking sixth in China and first in China National Intellectual Property Administration's household appliance industry.
