How is the protrusion of sublingual collaterals normal?

A hypoglossal vein is a hypoglossal vein. There are two veins, reaching the Shaoyin kidney vein. There are two strange points outside the meridian, one is Jinjin, and the other is Yu Ye. The body fluid moistens the tongue.

In fact, even in good health, the color of sublingual collaterals varies from person to person. The sublingual collaterals of normal people may be light blue and lavender, which may not be obvious, but slightly obvious is normal.

Only when the hypoglossal vein is prominent, it means that the body is different.

There are purple blood bubbles and blue veins under the tongue, and the blue veins are angry, which is blood stasis.

The sublingual collaterals are dark and the tongue is dark red, which is caused by phlegm blocking the lung, qi stagnation and blood stasis.

The sublingual collaterals are light and even red, indicating that the heart is too strong.

Basically, hypoglossal veins mainly reflect the condition of the heart. The heart governs the blood vessels, shining on the face and enlightened by the tongue. Tongue can not only embody "the mind governs the gods". It can also show the function of "the heart governs the blood vessels", so there is a saying that "the tongue is the seedling of the heart" and "the heart is realized by the tongue".

The collateral of the heart meridian goes up to the tongue, which is related to the tongue body. The tongue relies on the qi and blood of the heart to maintain the physiological function of the tongue body, so heart disease is often reflected on the tongue. For sublingual veins:

Deficiency of heart qi, white tongue and pale sublingual collaterals;

Heart fire gets angry or heart yin is insufficient, the tongue is red, even the tongue body is eroded, and the veins under the tongue are purple and black;

Blood stasis, dark purple tongue, hot heart or turbid phlegm, strong tongue or astringent speech, obvious swelling of sublingual collaterals, not only black and purple in color, but also prone to petechiae and ecchymosis.

In addition, as mentioned at the beginning, when Jin and yeyu reach Shaoyin Kidney Meridian and Shaoyin Kidney Meridian is abnormal, sublingual collaterals will also change.

However, the condition of sublingual collaterals is for reference only and cannot be used as a basis for syndrome differentiation independently. The sublingual collaterals of ordinary people are generally regarded as normal as long as they are not obviously thickened, bulged and purple-black.

Today, a friend asked me: If you have blue veins under your tongue, does it mean that you have blood stasis in your body? How is the blue veins under the tongue normal?

Before answering this question, we might as well take a mirror to look at the veins standing out under our tongue. We will find that, in fact, everyone has blue veins under his tongue. Some people will be lighter in color, some will be darker in color, and some will even be black. Which is normal for the prominent sublingual collaterals in these cases? Let's talk about this problem together.

When we roll up our tongues, we can clearly see that there will be two clear blue veins under the shed head. In fact, these are blood vessels and venous plexus of the tongue. The normal color should be slightly darker red or cyan. However, if the blue veins in those two articles are dark blue, deep purple or purple-black, it means that there is something wrong with your health and there may be congestion.

There are three kinds of abnormal hypoglossal veins:

In one case, if varicose veins appear in sublingual veins, they are larger than the previous blood vessels, that is, they are more prominent. It may be because the blood circulation in the body is not very good, and it is likely that there are problems with blood vessels, such as coronary artery occlusion, or myocardial strain and cardiopulmonary function. At this time, we should go to the hospital in time to check whether there are cardiovascular problems, find problems in time and treat them as soon as possible.

On the other hand, if the color of sublingual collaterals turns purple-black or dark purple, but the sublingual collaterals are not obviously distorted, it may be caused by blood stasis in the body or blood toxin accumulation, which is related to liver disease.

In addition, there is a possibility that patients have been under too much work pressure recently, often staying up late and not getting a good rest, which will also affect the circulation of blood vessels and toxins will accumulate in the body. If so, patients only need to drink more water, eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, ensure adequate rest and relax properly, so that after a period of time, the blue veins under the tongue will return to normal color.

In fact, we don't need to be too nervous about the sublingual collaterals. It is normal to have veins standing out. We only look at the size and color changes of the blue veins. If we observe our sublingual collaterals every day, the situation is similar every day, there is no bleeding or abnormal protrusion, and the body has no uncomfortable symptoms, then this is normal and no treatment is needed.

Thanks, TCM diagnostics can't be said.
