The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
Seafarer registration
The maritime administrative agency allows the applicant to engage in seafarers' occupation in accordance with the Regulations of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Seafarers and other relevant provisions.
Catering service crew catering and serving seafarers
Crew members who provide catering and sanitary services on seagoing ships, including but not limited to chefs and waiters.
Health requirements for registration of seafarers on seagoing ships

Should not be less than 155cm.
blood pressure
The systolic blood pressure is 90 mmhg ~ 140 mmhg and the diastolic blood pressure is 60 mmhg ~ 90 mmhg.
Heart rate, respiratory rate
The heart rate is 50 ~ 100 beats per minute, and the respiratory rate is 14 ~ 20 beats per minute.

The decimal recording method of eye chart specified in GB 1 1533 was adopted. The naked vision of both eyes can reach above 0.4, and the corrected vision can reach above 0.6.
Near vision

Spine, limbs
The unequal length of both lower limbs is less than 2cm, scoliosis is less than 4cm, there is no obvious kyphosis, and there is no deformity of limbs. Muscle strength of spine and limbs is normal, and economic exercise is good.
Occupational restrictions and taboos
Suffering from infectious diseases as stipulated in the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases, and failing to meet the health requirements for crew registration without proper treatment.

Health requirements for seafarers' posts
The post health requirements of seafarers on seagoing ships shall conform to the provisions in Table 1.

Inspection and evaluation
Seafarers' health examination shall be carried out according to the requirements of Appendix B, and the Seafarers' Health Checklist shall be filled in.
The conclusions of health examination for seamen of seagoing ships are divided into qualified and unqualified:
Qualified: meeting the health requirements specified in this standard;
Unqualified: it does not meet the hygiene requirements specified in this standard.

Occupational restrictions and contraindications of seafarers on seagoing ships
Diseases of heart and vascular system
Severe rheumatic valvular heart disease, unstable angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, acute myocarditis, pericarditis, cardiomyopathy and other diseases that cause cardiac insufficiency are prohibited from working on board; Asymptomatic coronary heart disease or mild heart disease with normal heart function may be allowed to work on coastal ships, and the validity period of health certificate shall not exceed one year.
Sick sinus syndrome, type II and III atrioventricular block of degree II, type I atrioventricular block of degree I and II with a history of syncope, complete left bundle branch block, branch II and III block, and diffuse indoor block are prohibited from boarding the plane; Those who have installed artificial pacemakers and are in stable condition within half a year may be allowed to work on ships sailing in Hong Kong, and the validity period of health certificates shall not exceed one year.
Recurrent paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia, atrial flutter, atrial fibrillation, bi-rhythm or tri-rhythm frequent ventricular premature beats, multi-source ventricular premature beats, frontal ventricular premature beats, various types of ventricular tachycardia, preexcitation syndrome with supraventricular tachycardia, and congenital QT interval extension syndrome are prohibited from working on board; Although there is atrial fibrillation, those with normal ventricular rate and cardiac function, as well as those with occasional pathological premature beats, may be allowed to work in coastal ships, and the validity of health certificates shall not exceed one year; Physiological premature beats or arrhythmia that can eliminate hidden dangers are not limited.
Those with cardiac myxoma, aneurysm, thromboarteritis, severe arteriovenous fistula, severe varicose veins of lower limbs with skin ulcer are prohibited from going aboard to work; Thrombotic arteritis and deep venous thrombosis of lower limbs that have not recurred after treatment for more than one year may be allowed to work in coastal ships, and the validity period of health certificate shall not exceed one year; Varicose veins of lower limbs without obvious symptoms are not restricted.
Respiratory diseases
Those with recurrent bronchial asthma, bronchiectasis, hemoptysis, recurrent spontaneous pneumothorax and pulmonary insufficiency caused by various reasons are prohibited from working on board; Asthma attacks are less than twice a year, and those with bronchiectasis and no infection or hemoptysis in recent two years may be allowed to work in coastal ships, and the validity period of health certificates shall not exceed one year; Spontaneous pneumothorax that has not recurred in recent two years is unrestricted.
Diseases of digestive system
Gastrointestinal ulcer complicated with bleeding, perforation, obstruction, decompensated cirrhosis or cirrhosis complicated with esophageal varices, cholecystitis and cholelithiasis complicated with repeated biliary colic, acute and chronic pancreatitis, intestinal obstruction, intestinal adhesion and other obvious symptoms are prohibited from working on board; Patients with early cirrhosis and those without obvious symptoms of intestinal adhesion may be allowed to work on coastal ships, and the validity period of health certificates shall not exceed one year; Those with digestive tract ulcer, cholecystitis, gallstones and intestinal obstruction who have no symptoms within two years after being cured are not restricted.
Liver transplantation, enterostomy and other serious digestive system diseases are prohibited from working aboard.
Urinary system diseases
People with glomerulonephritis, nephrotic syndrome and renal insufficiency are prohibited from going abroad to work; If glomerulonephritis and nephrotic syndrome do not recur within two years after being cured, they may be allowed to work on coastal ships, and the validity period of health certificate shall not exceed one year; Glomerulonephritis and nephrotic syndrome that have not recurred within five years after cure are not restricted.
Prostatic hypertrophy complicated with urinary tract obstruction is prohibited from working on board; Benign prostatic hyperplasia complicated with urinary tract obstruction, who has not recurred within one year after being cured, can be allowed to work on coastal ships, and the health certificate is valid for no more than one year; Those who have not relapsed within three years are not restricted.
People suffering from urinary calculi and repeated renal colic are prohibited from working abroad; Those who have not relapsed within half a year after the cure of urinary calculi and those who have no symptoms in kidney calculi may be allowed to work on coastal ships, and the validity period of health certificates shall not exceed one year; Urinary calculi that have not recurred within one year after cure are not restricted.
Kidney transplantation, cystostomy and other serious urinary system diseases are prohibited from working on board; Those who have stable kidney transplantation and have no rejection within five years may be allowed to work in coastal ships, and the validity period of health certificate shall not exceed one year.
Those who have slightly abnormal urine routine and fail to find hidden dangers in physical examination may be allowed to work in coastal ships; If the urine routine returns to normal or there is no change within one year, there is no restriction.
Diseases of the blood system
All kinds of hemolytic and hemorrhagic diseases, and those with moderate anemia or above are prohibited from working on board; Those who suffer from mild anemia or the above-mentioned blood diseases have not recurred within two years after being cured may be allowed to work on coastal ships, and the validity period of health certificates shall not exceed one year; Those who have not relapsed within three years are not restricted.
If the blood routine is slightly abnormal and the physical examination fails to find hidden dangers, they may be allowed to work in coastal ships; If the blood routine returns to normal or there is no change within one year, it is not restricted.
Endocrine and metabolic system diseases
Hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism, and drug use control is not good; Those who have not relapsed within one year after being cured or have good oral drug control may be allowed to work in coastal ships, and the validity period of health certificate shall not exceed one year; Those who have not relapsed within two years are not restricted.
Diabetic patients with poor blood sugar control or serious complications are prohibited from working on board; Those who need insulin control for diabetes are limited to working on ships sailing in Hong Kong, and the ships need to be equipped with refrigerated refrigerators, and the validity period of health certificates is not more than half a year; If diabetes can be controlled by oral drugs, it can be allowed to work on ships sailing along the coast, and the validity period of health certificates is not more than one year; Diabetes can be controlled by diet and unlimited exercise.
Other serious endocrine diseases that affect normal staff are prohibited from working on board.
Nervous system diseases
Epilepsy, pathological syncope or unexplained disturbance of consciousness, transient ischemic attack, migraine, cluster headache, trigeminal neuralgia and various nervous system diseases that cause mental or limb motor dysfunction are prohibited from working on board; Those who have not relapsed within two years after treatment may be allowed to work on coastal ships, but they cannot perform their duties on duty, and the validity period of health certificates shall not exceed one year.
Mental system diseases
Sleepwalking at night, severe neurosis, depression, anxiety and other mental patients are prohibited from working on board; Those who have not relapsed within two years after treatment may be allowed to work on ships sailing along the coast, but they cannot take up the post of captain and perform their duties, and the validity period of health certificates shall not exceed one year.
Prohibit drug addicts or persistent drug abusers from working on board; After treatment and drug withdrawal, those who have no recurrence of symptoms within one year may be allowed to work in coastal ships, but they cannot take the post of captain and perform their duties, and the validity period of health certificate shall not exceed one year; There is definite evidence that there is no restriction on asymptomatic relapse within three years after stopping drug abuse.
Alcoholics are forbidden to work on ships; After treatment, an author who has no withdrawal symptoms within one year may be allowed to work on a coastal sailing ship, but he cannot take up the post of captain and perform his duties, and the validity period of his health certificate shall not exceed one year; There is definite evidence that there is no withdrawal symptom within three years after withdrawal, and the author is not limited.
Malignant tumor
Those who have not been cured of malignant tumors are prohibited from working on board; Those who have not found any signs of recurrence in various examinations within two years after the malignant tumor is cured may be allowed to work on ships sailing along the coast, and the validity period of the health certificate shall not exceed one year; There is no restriction on those who have not found any signs of recurrence within five years.
Motor system diseases
All kinds of severe osteoarthritis with serious dysfunction are prohibited from working on board; Those who can control symptoms by oral drugs may be allowed to work in coastal ships, and the validity period of health certificate shall not exceed one year; After treatment, the symptoms are mild, and you can do your daily work without drug control.
People with severe osteoporosis are forbidden to work on ships.
Those with spinal canal stenosis and severe symptoms are forbidden to work on board; If the symptoms are mild and can be controlled by oral drugs, they may be allowed to work on ships sailing along the coast, and the validity period of the health certificate shall not exceed one year.
Those who suffer from various diseases that lead to muscle strength decline less than or equal to level 4 are prohibited from working on board.
People with habitual joint dislocation are forbidden to work abroad.
People with unstable spine after spinal surgery are forbidden to work abroad. Although there is internal fixation after fracture healing, those who are asymptomatic and have limited function are not restricted.
People suffering from various diseases that cause physical balance and coordination disorders are prohibited from going abroad to work.
Ear, nose and throat diseases
External auditory canal atresia, chronic non-benign suppurative otitis media and other incurable ear diseases, which affect hearing, are prohibited from working on board; Chronic otitis media, with controllable oral medication and normal hearing, can be allowed to work in coastal ships, and the health certificate is valid for no more than one year.
Suffering from severe nasal polyp, benign tumor of nasal cavity, nasal deformity, etc. Be forbidden to work abroad.
People with incurable throat diseases that affect swallowing and vocal function are forbidden to work on board.
People suffering from oral diseases that seriously affect chewing function and language function are forbidden to work on board.
Ophthalmic diseases
Pupil deformation, diseases of cornea, sclera, iris and ciliary body, and intraocular muscle movement disorder seriously affect visual function, and it is forbidden to work abroad.
Glaucoma, cataract, choroid, retina, optic nerve and other diseases that seriously affect visual function are prohibited from working on board; After treatment, the eyesight has recovered to the standard level, and working on the ship will not worsen the condition, so it may be allowed to work on the coastal sailing ship, but it cannot perform the lookout duty, and the validity period of the health certificate shall not exceed one year; Cataract therapists are not restricted.
other
Those who are pregnant for more than seven months or have abnormal pregnancy are prohibited from working on board; Pregnant women with normal pregnancy within seven months can be allowed to work on coastal ships.
Patients with benign ovarian and fallopian tube tumors can be allowed to work in coastal ships, and the validity period of health certificates is not more than one year.
People with severe language barriers are forbidden to work on ships.
Persons with severe chest deformities are forbidden to go aboard to work.
Those who are in danger of being imprisoned because of hernia are forbidden to work abroad.
Scleroderma, severe psoriasis, erythroderma and impetigo are prohibited from working abroad.
Systemic lupus erythematosus and other connective tissue diseases are not allowed to work on board.
All diseases not mentioned in this appendix are not suitable for working on board until they are fully and effectively diagnosed or treated; If the disease has caused irreparable damage and can't meet the requirements of this standard, it should be forbidden to work on board; If the disease is likely to cause further damage in harsh environment, it should be forbidden to work on ships or restricted to work on ships sailing in coastal areas or ports, and the validity period of health certificates should not exceed one year.
