More than 200 children in a kindergarten in Xi 'an are suspected of food poisoning. What legal responsibilities should the school bear?

In mid-June, 2022, in a kindergarten in Xi 'an, hundreds of children suddenly vomited to varying degrees, suspected of food poisoning, and the children still had high fever, severe abdominal pain and diarrhea, and even bloody stool and coma. A woman in Xi revealed that her child had the same symptoms in a kindergarten called Golden Yuecheng in Chittagong, Xi. The food safety of students has always been the top priority. If this happens to a child, the school must bear the corresponding legal responsibility, but the reason must be investigated first.

After the incident, relevant reporters also came here to interview. At noon on June 22, some netizens even left a message on People's Online, saying that since June 16, the kindergarten children had unexplained high fever, vomiting and diarrhea. By noon on June 22nd, it had accumulated to more than 140 people, including middle class, small class and large class. Children were treated in Children's Hospital and the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi 'an. Even many children had a high fever of 39~40 degrees, and the effect of taking medicine was not obvious.

Another parent also told the media that since June 19, her daughter had diarrhea about 7 times a day, diarrhea 19 times the next day and diarrhea 12 times the third day. By the time of the interview on June 22nd, she had loose bowels 1 1 times and felt very uncomfortable. On June 22, the kindergarten staff also responded, saying that the kindergarten had suspended teaching and was undergoing relevant inspections.

All local education departments, including the CDC, have been involved, but the accident is still under investigation and the investigation results have not yet come out. As of June 22, there are still 8 children in the hospital, and the results of hospitalization examination have not yet come out. But no matter what the final result is, the kindergarten school must bear most of the responsibility, whether it is the school or other reasons, at least the school has not played a supervisory role.
