Healthy my five senses

Huangdi Neijing, a classic of traditional Chinese medicine, points out that the five internal organs of human body have corresponding orifices in the head and face, that is, the heart opens orifices in the tongue, the spleen opens orifices in the mouth, the lung opens orifices in the nose, the liver opens orifices in the eyes and the kidney opens orifices in the ears.

Five zang-organs correspond to five orifices

This shows that the abnormal changes of human five senses directly reflect the health status of the five internal organs, that is to say, we can infer the hidden diseases of the five internal organs according to some abnormal changes in clinical practice. Details are as follows:

1. Open your heart to your tongue

Open your heart to your tongue.

The heart controls the blood vessels. By observing the tongue, we can reflect the healthy state of the heart.

If the heart yang is insufficient, the tongue is fat, tender and purple; Deficiency of heart yin leads to crimson tongue; Lack of hard work, dull tongue and inflammation of heart fire will lead to red tongue, sore and pain; Blood stasis, purple tongue or ecchymosis.

2. The spleen opens in the mouth

The mouth is the opening of the body or the window of the spleen.

Chinese medicine believes that the lips correspond to the spleen, so the causes of problems around the lips should be found in the spleen and stomach. Generally speaking,

People with good spleen and stomach have rosy lips and moderate dryness and wetness. People with spleen and stomach problems will have black lips, which may be spleen and stomach deficiency; The color of lips is too red, which may be that there is fire in the spleen and stomach; Pale lips may be due to spleen and stomach weakness leading to deficiency of qi and blood. ..............................................................................................................................................................

The lungs lead to the nose.

The nose is the opening of the lung, and it is also the way for foreign pathogens to invade the lung. If exogenous pathogens enter through the nose and mouth,

Clinically, exogenous pathogens attack the lungs, and lung qi failure leads to nasal congestion and runny nose, and poor sense of smell. Excessive lung heat often leads to shortness of breath and alar agitation. It can be seen that the lung is closely related to the nasal orifice, lung diseases can be reflected from the nose, and the treatment of nasal lesions often starts from the lung. 4. The liver begins to understand the purpose

Liver and eyesight.

The liver meridian starts from the foot and goes up to the abdomen along the inner side of the lower limbs.

Then it is further connected with the eyes through the internal context. The liver, which is deeply hidden in the body, continuously delivers nutrients to the eyes through the channels of meridians, so that our eyes will appear bright and flexible. That is to say, the meridians of the liver are connected with the eye system, and only when the essence of the liver is injected into the eyes along the liver meridian can the eyes play their visual functions. This is the so-called "eyes can see with blood" in traditional Chinese medicine. 5. The kidney leads to the ear.

The kidneys lead to the ears.

From the side effects of aminoglycosides, it can be proved that "the kidney begins to understand the ear": for example, the side effects of gentamicin are nephrotoxicity and ototoxicity.

The hearing organ of human body depends on the nourishment of kidney essence, so the ear belongs to the kidney.

The theory of viscera-state in traditional Chinese medicine, that is, according to the abnormal changes of five zang-organs, nine orifices and limbs, infers the pathological changes of five zang-organs and six fu-organs, and provides theoretical basis for syndrome differentiation and treatment in traditional Chinese medicine.
