On June 30th, the 14th meeting of the Central Committee for Comprehensively Deepening Reform adopted the overall plan for deepening education evaluation reform in the new era. Among them, it is proposed to "improve the result evaluation, strengthen the process evaluation, explore the value-added evaluation and improve the comprehensive evaluation".
The promulgation and implementation of this brand-new evaluation concept has strengthened our exploration and practice of evaluation reform.
Below, I will share with my peers some ideas on value-added evaluation, process evaluation and comprehensive evaluation of teachers and students.
First, increase the growth rate index and scientifically evaluate the teaching effect of teachers with the new five rates.
The evaluation of teachers' teaching achievements in some schools is unscientific. At the next level, regardless of the difficulty of the test questions, only the score is considered. Some only evaluate the average score, not the excellent rate; The middle level is compared with the teachers at the same level, and the teachers are evaluated according to the ranking. The performance is distributed. Imagine, if a department, excellent teachers gather together, and another department happens to be novice or weak teachers gather together, the former ranks last in the county or even better than the latter; There is also teacher evaluation that does not consider uneven class placement or succession differences.
It is suggested that dynamic passing rate, dynamic excellent rate, growth rate, average ranking rate and coincidence rate should be used for assessment to avoid the influence of class ranking and succession factors.
1, set the dynamic pass rate and excellent rate.
The traditional calculation method of pass rate and excellent rate is:
Pass rate = the number of students with more than 60 points in this class/the number of students in the class;
Excellent rate = number of students with 80 points or above in this class/number of students in the whole class
(Note: 60 points are required for the passing line and 80 points for the excellent line)
The calculation method of dynamic pass rate and dynamic excellent rate is:
Dynamic pass rate = the number of students who rank above 80% in the whole class/the number of students in the whole class;
Dynamic excellent rate = number of students whose classes rank above 25% in the whole grade/number of classes.
(Note: The passing line and the excellent line are dynamic. The scores of the last student who ranks in the top 80% and 25% of the grade in each exam are the passing line and the excellent line; How many students pass, the proportion of outstanding students in the specified grade is determined by the school itself).
2, increase the subject passing, excellent and effective indicators.
In addition, through the subjects, excellent and efficient calculation method is:
Subject efficiency = number of subjects passed and number of general subjects passed/number of subjects passed;
Excellent and effective subjects = the number of outstanding subjects and the number of outstanding subjects/subjects.
3. The average change rate of the average class is divided into average grades.
If the groups of the same department and subject in a certain range (town or grade) are divided into reference points on average after a certain teaching quality test, the ratio of the average score of a subject to the average score of the group in a certain class is named as "average score development rate", and the difference of average score development rate is the difference between the average score development rate measured by the same class in this teaching quality test and that measured by the previous teaching quality test. Taking this difference as one of the indicators to estimate the net value-added of teachers' teaching effectiveness.
4. Increase the growth rate.
Similarly, the differences among dynamic passing rate, dynamic excellence rate, discipline passing efficiency and discipline excellent efficiency are dynamic passing rate growth rate, dynamic excellence rate growth rate, discipline excellent efficiency growth rate and discipline passing efficiency growth rate respectively.
5. Simple and operable incremental evaluation of development.
Step 1: Count the number of students in each class according to their academic performance, accounting for 30%, 60% and 90% of the whole grade respectively.
Step 2: calculate the basic goal of the class, that is, the number of people who enter the top 30% of the grade one by one, each person 15 points; The number of people entering the range from 30% to the top 60% is 10; The number of people who enter the top 60% to the top 90% is 5 points each.
Divide the three cumulative scores by the total number of students in this class, and then 100 is the initial benchmark score of undergraduate programs in this class.
Step 3: Calculate the incremental score-the actual completion score minus the initial basic score equals the teacher's developmental incremental score.
Step 4: Evaluate the teachers in turn.
Take the five indicators of this exam-dynamic passing rate, dynamic excellent rate, average development rate, subject passing efficiency and subject excellent efficiency plus five indicators compared with the last exam-dynamic passing rate growth rate, dynamic excellent rate growth rate, average development rate difference and subject excellent effective rate growth rate, and give them different weights, and evaluate teachers' teaching performance by calculating the total score. Among them, the weight of the last five indicators is much greater than the first three.
Firstly, an embarrassing problem in the evaluation is skillfully solved by using dynamic pass rate and dynamic excellent rate. For example, there are two parallel classes in the same subject, the pass rate is 100%, and the excellent rate is 0. According to the traditional evaluation method, it is difficult to distinguish the advantages and disadvantages fairly. This problem is avoided by using the evaluation methods of dynamic pass rate and dynamic excellent rate.
Secondly, by adopting the two indicators of passing the subject and being excellent and effective, the phenomenon of teachers' "snow in front of the door" and fighting for time between students and teachers is avoided.
Thirdly, the establishment of process value-added indicators to evaluate teachers' teaching achievements embodies the principle of recognizing differences and evaluating teachers with the scale of development, which solves the problem that each class has a different starting point when placing classes, so that every teacher can truly compete fairly on the same starting line and ignite every teacher's teaching passion.
Finally, the characteristics of vertical and horizontal evaluation system are: vertical evaluation solves the problem of improvement, horizontal evaluation solves the problem of development, vertical investigation of absolute development increment, horizontal investigation of relative development increment.
In short, this three-dimensional evaluation system has been recognized by the majority of front-line teachers and teaching managers for its unique rationality, relative fairness and strong operability. It can be said that the positive value of this method inspired by the idea of value-added evaluation lies in that it can really be transformed into a dynamic mechanism, activate the internal source of teachers' work, promote teachers to constantly strive for better sustained and coordinated development between teachers and students and schools on the original basis, and be conducive to the improvement of the overall teaching efficiency of schools.
It should be noted that the calculation of this evaluation system is not complicated with the help of computers. Different grades, different test nature, the selected indicators should also be different.
Second,? Add four new grades to evaluate the course.
In addition to the traditional assessment of discipline, hygiene, habits and study, we have added four new indicators.
Tired of learning rate: see how many students in a class dislike this class or this classroom account for the total number of students in the class?
Myopia rate: See how many students wearing myopia glasses account for the total number of students in this class?
Reading rate: see how many students in a class have completed the quantitative and quality indicators of extracurricular reading?
Art training+health training rate: see the rate of a class where a student likes a musical instrument and a fitness exercise.
These four rates are touchstones, which can measure a class teacher's educational philosophy and conscience.
Third,? In order to improve the examination of lesson plans
? The purpose of inspection, screening, evaluation and assessment by the guidance office is changed to the purpose of learning from each other's strengths, learning from each other and making progress together.
The operation method is: the monthly inspection is to discuss and study teaching plans with each other as a unit. The first step is to observe colleagues' lesson plans and fill in the experience of observing colleagues' lesson plans: ask a colleague where he needs to be improved urgently, and you can learn from one of his advantages; Recommend excellent candidates for teaching plans. In the second step, the school summarizes and gives feedback to the corresponding teachers in the form of feedback cards. Step 3: Everyone chooses one from the column of colleagues' improvement suggestions and the column of learning from others' strengths to implement, that is, learning from others' strengths and improving their own shortcomings, referred to as11. Step 4, check the improvement of 1 and 1 next month, and then propose new1and 1 1, and so on.
Short for teaching plan 1 x 1 improve the evaluation method or the equivalent evaluation method.
1+ 1 Evaluation refers to sharing other people's opinions with teachers in the same class every month. For example, there are six people in this group, and each person writes a suggestion to a colleague. Everyone should sum up the advantages of learning other people's lesson plans, and let the teacher establish the improvement of 1 from the six suggestions given by others and the six advantages that he thinks of when reading the same lesson plan, and then evaluate the improvement next month. Core idea: assessment is to improve.
The selection of excellent teaching plans has changed from black-box operation to sunshine operation. The selection process is a process of sharing, improving and improving, and a process of growth.
We need more? Change "supervision and inspection" into "planning help". Cancel the inspection and supervision function of administrative personnel and change it to "planning help", that is, make plans in advance and announce requirements in advance to prepare teachers; If you are in trouble, you should give help in time.
Fourth,? Change the notice into a three-way notice (school situation, school situation, family situation)
Background: Parents know little about the annual reform measures and their effects in schools (classes); Parents can't evaluate and judge their children's academic performance because of a few cold figures in an exam; The head teacher's comments lack individuality and routinization. I think the traditional notice can be replaced by the three-way notice.
Creativity and planning of academic information announcement;
The information announcement is divided into the following five parts:
1, school situation (class situation) notification: inform the current school (class) reform measures and results; The announcement touched the top ten news figures on campus, the top ten news of the year. The purpose is to let parents know about the school (class), believe in the school and expand the brand reputation of the school.
2. Academic report: including annual comprehensive literacy assessment, performance change curve, and radar chart of influencing learning factors (Wayne chart).
(1) Annual comprehensive literacy evaluation: physical and mental health literacy data and comparative evaluation table;
(2), the third-level course is normal, and the results are average, providing the highest score, the lowest score and the three rates);
(3) Making the curve of students' grades and making scientific analysis;
(4) Making a radar map of factors that affect students' learning and analyzing potential fields;
The purpose is to give parents comprehensive information, not just figures and conclusions that parents cannot understand or misread. The purpose is to provide parents with laboratory test sheets and CT sheets for their reference like western medicine.
3. Change the comments of the class teacher into five-heart joint comments: myself in my heart; Encouragement from friends; I am in the teacher's eyes; The class teacher said to me; Parents' expectations. Follow-up: state facts+confirm the value of facts+express feelings+express expectations+gently point out problems.
At home, children do housework, honor their parents and study life. Parents fill in the feedback form for the school.
