2. Introduction to the Museum
Hanyang Mausoleum Museum, located on the Weihe River in the northern suburb of Xi, Shaanxi Province, is a national key cultural relics protection unit. 1999 was completed and opened, and now it is a national first-class museum, a national archaeological site park and a national AAAA tourist attraction. Relying on Yangling Mausoleum, where Emperor Jing of the Western Han Dynasty and Empress Wang were buried in different caves, it is a large-scale cultural tourist scenic spot with modern science and technology skillfully integrated with ancient civilization, history, culture and landscape, and it is the largest museum in China. After more than 30 years of archaeological exploration and excavation, it has been proved that Hanyang Mausoleum is mainly composed of Mausoleum District, Houling Mausoleum District, Southern Slave Burial Pit, Northern Slave Burial Pit, Ritual Architecture, Graveyard, Prisoner Cemetery and Yangling City.

Bus route:
Take bus no.4 from Xi' an library station; Take bus No.5 from Xianyang Railway Station.
Self-driving route:
From downtown Xi, you can enter Hong Chu Road along the North Second Ring Road and go straight to the newly-built airport expressway.
