Occupational health examination is a kind of medical behavior, which is different from general health examination. Through medical means and methods, before starting to engage in harmful operations, the occupational health monitoring inspection before taking up the post should be completed. It is a compulsory occupation, aiming at the occupational hazards that workers are exposed to, such as lead, noise and dust.
Occupational health monitoring aims at prevention. According to workers' occupational contact history, it continuously monitors workers' health status through regular or irregular medical health examination and health-related data collection, analyzes the relationship between workers' health changes and occupational hazards they are exposed to, and reports the results of health examination and data analysis to employers and workers themselves in time so as to take timely intervention measures to protect workers' health.
Occupational health monitoring mainly includes occupational health examination and occupational health monitoring file management.
Occupational health examination is divided into three categories: pre-job occupational health examination, on-job occupational health examination and off-job occupational health examination:
1. Pre-job occupational health examination.
The main purpose of pre-job health examination is to find out whether there are any occupational contraindications and establish basic health records for those exposed to occupational hazards. Pre-work health examination is a compulsory occupational health examination, which should be completed before starting to engage in dangerous operations.
The following personnel shall undergo pre-job health examination:
(1) Newly hired personnel who intend to engage in occupational hazards, including those who have been transferred;
(2) Persons who intend to engage in operations with special requirements for health, such as working at heights, electrician operations and professional motor vehicle driving operations.
2. Occupational health examination during the on-the-job period.
The purpose of regular health examination is mainly to find out early other abnormal health changes of occupational disease patients or suspected occupational disease patients or workers; Timely discover the occupational contraindications of workers; By dynamically observing the health changes of workers, the control effect of occupational hazards in the workplace is evaluated.
Workers who have been engaged in occupational hazard factors that require health supervision for a long time shall undergo regular health examinations during their on-the-job period.
The period of regular health examination is determined according to the nature of different occupational hazards, the concentration or intensity of harmful factors in the workplace, the incubation period of target diseases and protective measures.
3. Occupational health examination when leaving the post.
The main purpose is to determine their health status when they stop being exposed to occupational hazards.
Laborers should undergo a physical examination before preparing to transfer or leave a job or post with occupational hazards.
The last physical examination during the on-the-job period is within 90 days before leaving the job, which can be regarded as a full-time physical examination.
Physical examination after leaving the post
1. Occupational hazards exposed to workers have chronic health effects, and occupational diseases or occupational tumors often have a long incubation period, so occupational diseases may still occur after leaving the contact post, and occupational health examination is required after leaving the post.
2. The length of follow-up time should be determined according to the epidemiological and clinical characteristics of harmful factors, the length of time workers have been engaged in the operation, the concentration of harmful factors in the workplace and other factors.
