Cerebral infarction, also known as cerebral infarction, is brain tissue necrosis caused by local blood circulation failure and ischemia and hypoxia. This disease has a high incidence and recurrence rate, and it is a common vascular disease.
As we all know, the risk factors of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases include hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, arterial inflammation, arrhythmia and so on. However, those that directly lead to diseases are generally related to atherosclerosis. Macromolecular particles such as cholesterol, triglyceride and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol in the blood slowly accumulate, penetrate into the subcutaneous tissue of blood vessels to form plaques, block the normal circulation channels of blood, lead to poor blood circulation and appear symptoms of ischemia and hypoxia.
According to my 78-year clinical experience, the supervisor has treated thousands of patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, and summed up two characteristics:
Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases are more common in men than in women. 80% patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases are related to smoking, drinking, heavy salt and heavy oil, and staying up late. Therefore, when patients leave the hospital, I will tell all patients that they must quit smoking and drinking, eat healthily, take medicine regularly and review on time. Therefore, it is not recommended that patients with cerebral infarction drink and smoke!
Why not recommend drinking and smoking? Alcohol: Patients with cerebral infarction generally need to take statins to lower blood lipid or blood pressure, and also need to take antiplatelet drugs such as aspirin. Drinking alcohol will affect the curative effect of drugs, thus failing to reduce blood lipid, stabilize plaque, lower blood pressure and prevent platelet coagulation. In addition, alcohol is mainly metabolized in the liver, which is particularly harmful to the liver. Most of the drugs taken by patients with cerebral infarction are also metabolized by liver and kidney, which increases the burden on the liver, is unfavorable to the liver and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, and greatly increases the probability of recurrence and complications of cerebral infarction. Therefore, alcohol really must be given up! 2. Smoking: The symptoms of patients with cerebral infarction indicate that the cerebral vessels of patients are fragile. Smoking will produce a lot of harmful substances such as nicotine and tar, which will have adverse effects on the intima of blood vessels, such as inflammation. Smoking will also cause blood pressure to rise, which will adversely affect the elasticity of blood vessels, thus accelerating the development of atherosclerosis, making plaques unstable and causing myocardial infarction or cerebral infarction. Therefore, smoking is a matter of time. Conclusion: Dr. Liu suggested that healthy people quit smoking and drink less, and patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases must quit smoking and drinking, because these patients can only enjoy its benefits after quitting smoking and drinking. This is a healthy "time". Whether they really benefit can stand the test of time. I hope every patient can manage himself and benefit from it! !
