1. Residence permit for foreigners, issued to people who have lived in China for more than 1 year.
A temporary residence permit for foreigners is issued to those who have resided in China for less than 1 year.
Foreigners holding D, Z, X, J- 1 visas and foreigners who need to stay in China for more than 30 days are exempt from visas according to the agreement signed between the China government and foreign governments. You must apply to the city or county public security bureau where you live for a foreigner's residence permit or a temporary foreigner's residence permit within 30 days from the date of entry.
The validity period of the above residence certificate is the period during which the holder is allowed to stay in China.
Foreigners holding visas marked F, L, G and C can stay in China within the time limit indicated in the visa, and do not need to apply for residence certificates.
Foreigners applying for residence certificates must answer relevant questions and go through the following procedures:
(1) Submit for examination passports, visas and certificates related to the reasons for residence;
(2) fill in the residence application form;
(three) to apply for a residence permit for foreigners, you must also submit a health certificate and a recent 2-inch half-length bareheaded photo.
