What is the uterus like?

Hello,:

The uterus is located in the middle of pelvis, with bladder in front and rectum in the back. The shape is inverted pear-shaped, slightly flat before and after. The uterus of adult women is about 7~8 cm long, 4~5 cm wide and 2~3 cm thick, and the upper part is triangular, that is, the uterine body. There is a protuberance at the top of the uterine body, called the uterine bottom, and its two sides communicate with the fallopian tube, called the uterine horn. The lower part of the uterus is cylindrical or prismatic, which is the cervix. The inner cavity of the cervix is a cervical canal, the upper end of which is an internal cervical opening, which communicates with the uterine cavity, and the lower end is an external cervical opening, which communicates with the vagina. I wish you good health.
