TDS, also known as total dissolved solids, takes milligrams per liter (mg/L) as the unit, indicating how many milligrams of dissolved solids are dissolved in 1 liter of water.
The higher the TDS value, the more dissolved substances are contained in the water.
Total dissolved solids refers to the total amount of all solutes in water, including the contents of inorganic substances and organic substances. Generally speaking, the salt in the solution can be known by its electrical conductivity. Generally speaking, the higher the conductivity, the higher the salt content and the higher the TDS.
Usage of TDS pen: open the probe cover of TDS pen and press subscript? ON/？ Turn it off? Button, after the LCD screen is displayed, insert the TDS pen into the water to be measured. When the value is stable, press the HOLD key with the lower mark, and then take out the TDS pen to read the value. After the test, wipe the TDS pen probe clean with dry paper.
Factors affecting TDS value test:
Water temperature: TDS pen cannot be used to measure high-temperature water (such as hot water).
Flow velocity of water: TDS pen can not be used to measure water body with large shaking.
Water pollution: TDS pen cannot be used to measure water with high pollution concentration.
