Having a healthy body is the greatest wealth.

A few years ago, we accepted a patient here and he left a deep impression on me.

He is a patient with gastric cancer. He lived with us for nearly three months and took medicine every day to maintain his physical function. He fought hard against the disease, but finally succumbed to the powerful cancer cells.

I watched him change from a plump and normal figure to a scrawny skeleton in three months. Looking at his body lying in bed at last, I couldn't help crying with regret.

His wife served him here for three months. When I was on the night shift, his wife would come to chat with me, and I knew the root of his illness.

This patient is a very caring and responsible man. He works hard to live a good life for his family. He is a big truck driver and drives outside, so it is normal to eat late, be hungry and be hot and cold. I got stomach trouble in my thirties. Because I was busy at work and didn't have systematic treatment, I took some medicine when I felt uncomfortable. As a result, I was only 50 years old and was diagnosed with gastric cancer.

His lover's heart is full of regrets. He regrets making a person sick in order to make money. Now he has money, but he will lose it.

Every time I think about this patient, I feel very sad. Hospital is a place of reincarnation: a new life is born here and an aging body dies here. Here, we can see the joy when life is born, and we can also see the sadness when life falls.

Of course, birth, old age, illness and death are inevitable fates, which everyone will experience in his life, but some people's lives are measured by a hundred years, and some people's lives are numbered. Life needs thickness, but it also needs length.

From birth, everyone's life is not just his own. Little people began to play different family roles: parents' children, grandparents' grandchildren. When I grow up, I have to play more family and social roles, so I have to bear more family and social responsibilities.

If a person dies when the child is still young and the old man is still alive, it will be a great disaster for this family. Therefore, it is very important to have a healthy body. Keeping healthy is not only responsible for yourself, but also for your family.

Rome was not built in a day, nor was money earned in a day. Reasonable arrangement of time, scientific planning of life, combination of work and rest, and good health are the greatest wealth.
