If the notebook tests well, you will get extra points.

There are not a few friends who have bought prototypes, rework machines and refurbished machines. In view of this problem, today we will go to the computer city with you to learn about the common sense of purchasing money detectors.

●? The first step in buying a testing machine: there is something fishy in the box.

Before unpacking, check whether the box is in good condition. Although it may cause extrusion during transportation, we can't relax our vigilance. Considering various factors such as product logistics and storage, damaged boxes may not all have problems, but they are probably not caused during transportation. When this happens, you have reason to ask for a replacement of the machine.

Check whether the product packaging box is in good condition.

Carefully check the product model on the labels on both sides of the box.

When transferring products from the warehouse, dealers should not only check whether the box is intact, but also carefully check whether the model marked on the stickers on both sides of the box is correct (the serial number of SN will be introduced later). Sometimes, when you can't wait to open the box, you find that they have "taken the wrong machine". Pay more attention to this, and don't sell the prototype to profiteers and create any opportunities for transformation.

●? The second step of buying this money detector: pay attention to the unpacking of the money detector.

The first step in unpacking is to check whether the seal of the packing box has been opened. Generally speaking, there are seals at the upper and lower ends of the product packaging box, so consumers often only notice the top one and ignore the bottom one. As far as the editor knows, many profiteers will take out their machines and send them in from below.

Before unpacking, first check whether the seal is in good condition.

Often unopened seals are relatively flat, and there are no traces of tearing around them. When we open the seal, we should check whether the sticky part is uniform. As far as we know, some dealers blow the seal with a hair dryer and then stick it back with double-sided tape.

Carefully observe the product seals at the top and bottom of the box.

Below the seal is a layer of adhesive tape, usually with the name of the manufacturer as the pattern. Just like checking the seal, you should also check whether it has been torn off when unpacking.

After unpacking, don't rush to check the host. It is suggested that the main engine and all accessories be evenly spread on the table, and the items in the box should be checked according to the packing list.

After the inspection, put all the accessories aside. Next, we will take out the three-package certificate for three-code inspection. What is "three-code check"? Maybe friends who buy the machine for the first time don't understand this. The three codes refer to the SN code on the product packaging box, the SN code on the self-adhesive label at the bottom of the host, and the SN code on the three-package certificate in the picture below.

It is worth noting here that not only should we check whether the SN code at the bottom of the fuselage corresponds to the other two places, but we should also carefully look at whether this sticker has been touched. In the eyes of some wily profiteers, it is not difficult to copy this sticker.

●? Step 3: Check the host carefully.

It is true that the mainframe is the most valuable thing in the box, and we should put 80% of our energy into the inspection of the mainframe. Usually, we start with the top cover. At present, the top covers of mainstream products on the market are mostly made of piano paint or frosted materials, such as the Gateway notebook shown below. We need to see if there are fingerprints on the top cover, and pay more attention to whether the frosted machine top cover is flat and scratch-free.

During inspection, the damping strength of the screen shaft should also be tested. If the shaft is found to be too loose, it is probably not the manufacturer's design problem. Generally speaking, the fatal injury of the prototype ravaged by countless consumers is not the top cover, because people rarely knock on the top cover of the product when trying out the product, and the keyboard, touchpad and palm rest are our key objects.

Whether there is oil stain on the surface of the keyboard and touchpad, whether the technical labels and configuration stickers on the palm rest are worn, whether the left and right keys are too loose, and whether there is dust in the gap of the keyboard are all worthy of our attention.

●? Step 4: Don't give up the details of the fuselage.

In the above article, we have checked the whole A and C planes of the fuselage. Next, we will focus on the D plane and the interface part. I believe that after careful observation, you will definitely find the clues of the prototype.

First of all, let's see if the gold finger of the battery is scratched, but since some prototypes in the store are directly powered by power adapters, this part of the inspection is for reference only, and the brand-new ones are not necessarily new ones.

Checking the gold finger connected to the battery is often overlooked.

Have you checked the USB2.0 interface and computer lock?

Have you checked the audio/video input/output interface?

Have you checked the laptop cooling window?

Whether the feet are worn and whether the screws are scratched.

For the purpose of external mouse and anti-theft, USB2.0 and battery lock are the most commonly used interfaces of the in-store prototype, especially the battery lock, which is difficult to repair due to wear and tear caused by use, so we should pay attention to it. In addition, the foot pads and screws at the bottom of the fuselage can not be ignored. The machine with dirt on the foot pad is probably the original prototype, and the machine with scratches on the screws has basically been dismantled.

●? Step 5: Bring all the test software.

After checking the appearance and accessories of the fuselage, we will turn on the machine to check whether the hardware configuration is hidden. Here, the editor suggests that you don't install the battery yet, and connect the power adapter directly to start the machine.

At present, most laptops are pre-installed with Windows? Vista operating system, it is worth noting that when we first open the host, we will not enter the system interface. The first thing you should see is a series of setting interfaces, such as name, time zone and so on. After some settings, we can enter Windows. Vista, if your machine directly enters the system the first time it is started, it means that it has been started more than once.

Generally speaking, we use four kinds of software to test laptops, namely "battery" and "HD". Tone, Everest and Nokia? NTest ",in which Everest is responsible for testing the overall hardware configuration, HD? Tune detects hard disk association, BatteryMon detects battery information, Nokia? NTest helps us check the screen performance.
