2. Activity route

Hiking strategy 1, slate pavement

Pavement characteristics

Because the road surface is smooth and covered with moss, it is easy to slip. Once it encounters rain and snow, it is easy to have accidents, such as falling and spraining.

Walking experience

After the rain, in addition to wearing non-slip shoes, you should relax. When walking, the center of gravity should not be too forward, and the direction of the center of gravity should be perpendicular to the slate on the ground. When carrying a big bag, the center of gravity of the bag should be lower in the middle. When going downhill, the center of gravity leans forward slightly. Step on the gap between the stone slabs as much as possible, and keep a distance between them to avoid shoveling several times after one person falls.

2, jumping stone pavement

Pavement characteristics

The so-called jumping stone means that there is no obvious road. The so-called "road" is mainly formed by long-term rain erosion and mountain torrents in valleys and gullies. Or there is a road but it is surrounded by agricultural land. When farmers are farming, they sort out the stones in the field and pile them on the road. In the long run, a road will become a stone road of different sizes. Walking on this road, you have to jump around on the stones. Fine sand, streams and boulders are intertwined, and there are "killings" everywhere.

Walking experience

Overcoming the fear of jumping off a rock is the most important thing, which requires concentration. Don't go to the canyon to jump rocks in the rainy season. Before or just after the rainstorm, be careful of flash floods. Prepare a pair of hiking shoes with thick soles and hard soles. Before jumping, check whether the shoelaces are loose, and then tighten the shoulder straps and belts of the backpack to make it close to the back to avoid the backpack shaking and unstable center of gravity when jumping. When walking on the stone jumping road, you should pay attention to the situation ahead, accurately judge the next foothold, and pay attention to the dark marks left on some stones as a long-term foothold. In addition, be sure to clean the soles. If sand sticks to the soles of shoes, watch your knees and front teeth.

3. Mud pavement

Pavement characteristics

This kind of pavement is the most common, mainly caused by stone weathering and long-term trampling on the bare ground. Maybe you think this is the best way, what should you pay attention to! That's the idea. All wet. In the rainy season, this kind of pavement is the legendary muddy road, which is very easy to fall and hurt your knees.

Walking experience

After the heavy rain, the surface of the dirt road has been dried by the sun, but it has actually absorbed enough water. It's easy to get into danger when going up and down the mountain at this time. When walking on this road, the soles of the shoes must firmly grasp the ground and make full use of the trekking pole as a fulcrum to avoid accidentally stepping into a deep mud pit. In addition, the temperature difference between day and night in spring and autumn is large, and the dirt road surface is easy to freeze after rain and snow, and the risk factor is relatively high. In this case, it is very important to make full use of trekking poles and things that can climb up and down to ensure that the fulcrum is firm when climbing objects.

4. Shrubs

Pavement characteristics

There are many kinds of shrubs, which can be roughly divided into natural shrubs and artificial afforestation shrubs. Natural shrubs are mainly distributed in dense jungles, with many kinds of shrubs and relatively low. Generally, the soil is wet and soft, and there may be swamps, which is more dangerous. Greening shrubs are mainly distributed on hillsides in hilly areas with relatively dry climate. They are planted artificially to prevent wind and fix soil. Generally, the soil is dry and contains more stones and sand. It looks hard, but actually it will slip when you step on it.

Walking experience

Wear glasses and a hat when walking in the bushes, zip up your jacket, and keep a distance of at least 1.5 meters between players to prevent the branches dropped by teammates in front from bouncing back and hurting themselves. Always remind the teammates behind you that it's too far away to get lost! When hiking through natural bushes, it is best to have auxiliary equipment and experienced team leaders or local guides to explore the road first. Pay attention to the short thorns of shrubs and the large number of mosquitoes. It is recommended to wear high-top non-slip soles, jungle boots with large concave-convex lines and long-sleeved trousers, and pay attention to protecting the face. Compared with natural shrubs, artificial shrubs are taller and more prickly. It is recommended to prepare gloves (preferably leather), long-sleeved high-necked scratch-resistant pants and hiking shoes with good anti-slip grip. When hiking on this kind of shrub, try to take a wide road with non-slippery soil, and it is best to hold live branches with fresh branches that can hold hands. Change branches steadily, stand firm and slowly.

5, snow crossing

Pavement characteristics

Snow-covered roads are formed by snow and snow. Because of the snow, it is impossible to judge the terrain and road conditions, and the situation will be very complicated. Snow makes it slippery, with great resistance and inconvenient walking.

Walking experience

Walking in the snow, or walking on the ground with long snow, the most important thing is to keep a small stride, keep a fixed pace, and walk rhythmically at your own pace. When marching on snow, you should choose a place where the snow is hard. When walking in the soft snow for a long time, you should take big steps to shorten the time of walking in the snow. When walking, put your feet back a little, then lift your feet and stride forward. Foot retreat is to let snowshoes have room to move, and taking a step forward can also play the role of brushing away accumulated snow.

Pay more attention when walking on a snowy slope. It is more difficult to walk because of the steep slope. In addition, the ground is covered with snow, so we should not only pay attention to crack prevention, but also pay attention not to collapse the snow. At the junction of snow and snow, the snow is often deep, so it is necessary to pass in groups (2-3 people) when moving. When climbing a snow slope, you should walk less where there are obvious cracks.

When crossing the snow bridge, passers-by detect the actual situation of the snow bridge before passing. If the snow is soft, you must go through it. You should crawl. Step forward, step on the snow with your forefoot, step on the steps and then move your hind feet. If you accidentally slip, you should lie on your stomach immediately to prevent slipping.

It's hot, don't quench your thirst with ice and snow. If you swallow ice and snow suddenly, you will easily get laryngitis. If you are really thirsty, you can rinse your mouth with melted ice and snow and try not to swallow it into your stomach. Water will increase the burden of human circulatory organs and affect your physical strength.

Step 6 walk in the mountains

Pavement characteristics

Mountainous areas are usually composed of rolling hills or gullies with streams, cliffs or forests in between. The pavement is often complicated, and there may be stone roads, dirt roads, jumping stones, bushes and so on. In front, so we should use all kinds of hiking skills comprehensively.

Walking experience

In order to avoid getting lost, save physical strength and improve the speed of traveling in mountainous areas, we should strive to make sure that there are roads that don't go through forests and mountains, and roads that don't take paths. If there is no road, you can choose to travel on the longitudinal ridge, ridge, mountainside, the edge of rivers and streams, and the terrain with high trees, sparse forests, large gaps and low grass. Generally, do not walk in deep valleys, lush vegetation, rattan and bamboo intertwined places, and strive to walk on beams rather than ditches, and walk vertically rather than horizontally.

March should follow the principle of striding, and so should mountains. If you increase your stride, make two steps in three steps, and come down for tens of kilometers, you can walk a lot less and save a lot of physical strength. When you are tired, you should relax and walk slowly to rest instead of stopping. You can walk out of dozens of meters in one minute.

Walking in the mountains, you often meet all kinds of rock slopes and steep walls. Therefore, rock climbing is the main skill of mountaineering. Before climbing, carefully observe the rocks, carefully distinguish the quality and weathering degree of the rocks, and then determine the direction and route of climbing. The most basic method of rock climbing is the "three-point fixation" method, which requires good cooperation between the hands and feet of the climber. After fixing one foot or two feet with one hand, move a little, so that the center of gravity of the body rises gradually. When using this method, we should prevent jumping up and rushing in, avoid moving at two points at the same time, and be sure to be steady, light and fast. According to your own situation, choose the most suitable distance and the most stable fulcrum, and don't rush or push too far across the stride.

Don't overestimate your physical strength when traveling in the mountains. When you are tired, you should rest in time. Don't rest until you are almost exhausted, because your physical strength is not easy to recover, and you won't get excited if you walk again. The correct way is to take a big step, then relax and walk slowly for a while, or stop to have a rest and adjust your breath. When standing and resting, don't take off your backpack. You can support a wooden stick under your backpack to reduce the load on your body. If the weather is cold, don't sit on a stone and rest. Stones will quickly absorb heat from your body.

7. River bridge crossing

Pavement characteristics

Crossing the river is a possible problem in outdoor hiking. Usually we can rely on the map to judge whether there are large rivers in the crossing area. However, in areas with complex terrain, especially in areas with large height difference and strong valley cutting, a seemingly small stream often becomes an obstacle to crossing. In the season of frequent rainstorms, a stream that can't constitute a deterrent may become a big river with soaring floods. Therefore, we must carefully choose the place to cross the river.

Walking experience

The best way is to find a bridge or ask the local people to know the location of the bridge, and then prepare to cross the river on foot only as a last resort. When crossing the river, the first thing to do is to observe the current carefully. If the current is slow, you can cross in a shallow place and land on the shore where it is easy to land. On the other hand, just above or next to the waterfall, the river is usually deep and has a large amount of water, so you must not cross it. In the upper reaches of a narrow river, it may be feasible to wade across the river-but first try the depth of the river with a pole. There may be rocks to rest on, or artificial stones to help you cross the river. Outside the river delta bay, the waves are usually rough and the river is wide. Some rivers are even affected by tides, so don't cross them.
