How should breasts be self-examined?

Breast cancer is a malignant tumor that seriously harms women's health. Because it is on the body surface, breast cancer is easy to be found early if you pay attention to it. The early cure rate of breast cancer can reach 80%-90%. 80% of breast cancer can be found by touching the membrane. 60% of breast tumors were discovered by the patient himself or her husband. Breast cancer patients found by breast self-examination usually have smaller tumors and higher cure rate. In fact, as long as you master the examination method, you can carry out a simple breast cancer self-examination method at home. Contents and steps of self-examination: Take off your coat, fully expose your upper body, stand in front of the mirror, with your hands drooping naturally, and observe whether there are any abnormalities in the appearance of both breasts, including shape, size, epidermal depression or uplift, desquamation, redness, wrinkles, etc. And then pay attention to whether the nipple has secretions, deformation or erosion, depression, etc. Hold your hands behind your head, press your hands forward slightly, and pay attention to the breast shape and contour in the observation mirror. Put your hands on your waist, lean forward, press your shoulders and elbows slightly forward, and look in the mirror to see if your breasts are abnormal. Raise your arm, put the fingers of your right hand together, and gently press the left breast with your palm. When examining, you can think of the breast as a clock, press it clockwise from twelve o'clock, then go back to twelve o'clock, and carefully examine every part of the breast from the outside to the nipple, paying special attention to the upper quarter of the breast and the armpit. Squeeze the nipple gently and pay attention to whether there is secretion. Check the left breast, check the right breast. Lie flat on the bed and put a small pillow or bath towel behind your left shoulder. As the shoulder is raised, the center of gravity of the breast will move inward, making the breast flat and easy to check. Repeat steps 4 and 5. During the examination, gently press the needle to prevent the tumor from spreading, and do not pinch the breast with your fingers to prevent the normal lobules of the breast from being mistaken for breast masses.
