The "Measures" make specific provisions on the matters that China citizens who live abroad 1 year or above and apply for leaving the country should undergo AIDS health examination after returning home or before going abroad. At the same time, it also puts forward requirements for overseas people living in China. The "Measures" stipulate that China citizens who have lived abroad for more than 1 year should go to the port AIDS monitoring point set up by the inspection and quarantine institution for health examination or receive an application form for AIDS testing when entering the country, and go to the port inspection and quarantine institution or a hospital at or above the county level for health examination within 1 month. China citizens who have applied to leave the country 1 year or more and China employees who work on international navigable means of transport shall hold valid health examination certificates of AIDS test results issued by inspection and quarantine institutions or hospitals at or above the county level.
