Yellow code is a word, which is the abbreviation of the phenomenon that the health code is yellow in epidemic prevention work in COVID-19. The body temperature is above 37.3℃ or has respiratory symptoms such as dry cough, expectoration, nasal congestion, sore throat, shortness of breath, dyspnea, general weakness, muscle soreness, abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and conjunctival hemorrhage.

People from epidemic risk areas may have had close contact with confirmed patients, suspected patients and asymptomatic infected people within 14 days, such as taking the same public transport, living in the same building unit, and other people who need to be included in the yellow code management.

The Chengdu Municipal Finance Bureau issued the Notice on Further Strengthening the Safeguard Work of Nucleic Acid Detection for Health Code Yellow Code Personnel, which made it clear that from now until all areas in Chengdu are adjusted to low risk, the cost of nucleic acid detection for health code yellow code personnel shall be fully borne by the municipal finance.
