The predecessor of Quzhou Experimental School is the primary school attached to Quzhou Normal University. Qushi Primary School, founded in 19 16, is a municipal experimental primary school featuring aesthetic education. 1998 was recognized by the Ministry of Education as the first batch of "National Modern Educational Technology Experimental Schools for Primary and Secondary Schools". In 2000, it was awarded the advanced collective of education and scientific research in Zhejiang Province by Zhejiang Academy of Educational Sciences.
200 1 was rated as one of the top 100 research schools in Zhejiang province. In 2002, it was rated as the advanced collective of "Five Loves and Four Owns" educational activities in the province by the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee, and named as "National Experimental School for Moral Construction of Small Citizens" by the Ministry of Education and the Central Education Institute, and won the first prize of the National Small Citizens' Moral Construction Collective. In 2003, the school was named as the first batch of "Quzhou Famous Schools" by the municipal government.
The school has also won the titles of national advanced collective learning from Lei Feng, national Young Eagle Red Flag Brigade, national model worker family, Zhejiang civilized unit, Zhejiang advanced school, Zhejiang red scarf demonstration school, Zhejiang art education advanced unit, Zhejiang audio-visual education advanced unit, Quzhou labor model collective, and Quzhou top ten civilized units.
In recent years, the school has actively carried out educational research around the overall goal of "building an aesthetic education model and comprehensively promoting quality education". He has undertaken more than 20 provincial and municipal projects, among which "Structural Design of Audio-visual Teaching Classroom for Primary Chinese" and "Routine Test for Low-level Chinese in Primary Schools" won the first prize of provincial and ministerial projects.
In 2002, the subject "Research and Practice of Evaluation Criteria for Aesthetic Education in Primary Schools" was established as the national key subject of the Tenth Five-Year Plan of Education Science of the Ministry of Education. Teachers have published more than 200 educational research papers and more than 20 monographs and various teaching books.
