Township people's governments shall be responsible for organizing and coordinating village communities to cooperate with water supply management units to ensure the safety of rural drinking water within their respective jurisdictions. Article 6 All relevant departments and units shall strengthen their services and supervision according to their duties:

(eight) the market supervision department is responsible for the supervision and inspection of the implementation of rural water price policy;
(nine) the power supply company is responsible for providing power security and implementing the preferential electricity price policy. Article 7 People's governments at the county level shall set up specialized management institutions for rural drinking water projects at the county level, set up grass-roots water supply management units according to local conditions, be responsible for the daily operation and maintenance management of the projects, and actively explore and popularize the mode of "administrative supervision, market-oriented management and enterprise operation" in the operation and management of rural drinking water projects. Eighth people's governments at all levels and relevant departments shall, in accordance with these measures, strengthen the publicity of rural water supply work and raise the awareness of rural residents on safe water use, paid water use and water conservation.
Units and individuals that have made remarkable achievements in rural water supply work shall be rewarded by the people's governments at or above the county level or the relevant departments. Chapter III Project Management Article 9 After the completion and acceptance of the rural drinking water supply project, the construction unit shall go through the formalities of asset transfer to the water supply management unit in a timely manner in accordance with relevant regulations, and the water supply management unit shall be responsible for the operation, maintenance and management of the project. The operation and management of all rural drinking water supply projects shall accept the supervision and guidance of the local water administrative department. Fourteenth rural drinking water project operation and management personnel shall perform the following basic duties:

(two) standard operation, regular inspection and maintenance of wells, pipelines, water supply structures and equipment, regular cleaning and disinfection, and make records;
