Legal basis: According to Article 13 of the Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driving License, motor vehicle drivers over 70 years old should have a physical examination once a year, and submit relevant physical condition certificates issued by medical institutions at or above the county level or at the regiment level within 30 days after the end of the scoring period. Drivers over 70 years old will have their motor vehicle driver's license cancelled in dmv if they fail to submit their physical condition certificates within one year after the end of a scoring cycle. If the motor vehicle driver's license is cancelled due to failure to submit the physical condition certificate, and the motor vehicle driver's license is within the validity period or exceeds the validity period for less than one year, the motor vehicle driver may resume driving qualification after submitting the physical condition certificate.
