Invasion route: inhalation, ingestion and percutaneous absorption.
Health hazard: If inhaled, ingested or absorbed through the skin, it is harmful to the body. 1, 2- dichloropropane has inhibitory effect on the central nervous system; Will make the skin dry, peeling and chapped; Stimulate mucosa; Can cause fatty degeneration of liver, kidney and myocardium.
Second, toxicological data and environmental behavior.
Acute toxicity: LD 502 1.96 mg/kg in rats (orally); 8750mg/kg (rabbit skin); Mice inhaled 4.6 g/m× 3 ~ 4 hours, causing death; Mice took 860mg/kg orally, resulting in death.
Subacute and chronic toxicity: mice inhaled 1.85 g/m× 4 ~ 7 hours /2 ~ 12 times, and the hepatocytes were slightly steatosis; Rats inhaled 4.4g/m×7 hours× 6 ~ 32 times, and half of the animals died.
Mutagenicity: salmonella strains TA 1535, TA 1978, TA 100, 10 ~ 50m g/ dish were positive in Ames test.
Hazard characteristics: its vapor forms an explosive mixture with air, which will cause combustion and explosion when exposed to open flame and high heat energy. Can react strongly with oxidant. It is decomposed at high temperature, producing toxic and corrosive gases. Its vapor is heavier than air, and it can spread to a considerable distance at a lower place, and it will be ignited when it meets a fire source. In case of high heat, the internal pressure of the container rises, which is in danger of rupture and explosion.
Combustion (decomposition) products: carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, hydrogen chloride, phosgene.
3. The field emergency monitoring method:
Portable gas chromatograph
4. Laboratory monitoring methods:
Purge and Trap-Gas Chromatography (China National Environmental Monitoring Center, Water Quality)
Manual for Testing, Analysis and Evaluation of Solid Waste by Gas Chromatography translated by China National Environmental Monitoring Center, etc.
Chromatography/mass spectrometry EPA524.2 method
5. Environmental standards:
The maximum allowable concentration of harmful substances in the air of workshops in the former Soviet Union is10 mg/m.
Olfactory threshold concentration 50ppm
6. Emergency treatment and disposal methods:
First, the emergency treatment of leakage
Evacuate the personnel in the leaked contaminated area to a safe area, prohibit irrelevant personnel from entering the contaminated area, and cut off the fire source. Rong Sheng Chemical Company recommends that emergency personnel wear self-contained breathing apparatus and general fire protection clothing. Stop plugging when safety is ensured. Spray can reduce evaporation, but it can't reduce the flammability of leakage in closed houses. Mix and absorb with sand or other nonflammable adsorbents, and then collect and transport them to the waste disposal site for treatment. You can also brush the emulsion made of incombustible dispersant and put the diluted washing water into the wastewater system. If there is a large amount of leakage, it will be contained by dike, and then collected, transported, recovered or discarded after harmless treatment.
Waste disposal method: incineration. Waste is mixed with other fuels for combustion. Combustion should be sufficient to prevent the production of phosgene. Hydrogen halide in the waste gas of incinerator is removed by acid scrubber.
Second, the protective measures
Respiratory system protection: Wear a gas mask when the concentration in the air exceeds the standard. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus in case of emergency rescue or escape.
Eye protection: Wear chemical safety glasses.
Physical protection: wear corresponding work clothes.
Hand protection: Wear chemical resistant gloves when necessary.
Others: Smoking and eating are strictly prohibited in the workplace. Take a shower and change clothes after work. Pay attention to personal hygiene.
Third, first aid measures.
Skin contact: Take off contaminated clothes and rinse thoroughly with soapy water and clean water.
Eye contact: lift the eyelid immediately and rinse with running water.
Inhalation: leave the scene quickly and go to a place with fresh air. Keep the respiratory tract unobstructed. Oxygen is given when breathing is difficult. When breathing stops, give artificial respiration immediately. See a doctor.
Ingestion: people who take it by mistake should drink more warm water, induce vomiting, gastric lavage and seek medical advice.
Fire extinguishing methods: misty water, foam, carbon dioxide, dry powder and sand.
