Problems in Maternal and Child Health Hospital and Report on Rectification Measures

On June 27th, the 25th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 14th Municipal People's Congress reviewed the work of the county health committee. In view of the problems existing in our hospital, the hospital leaders attached great importance to it, immediately convened a meeting of the hospital team, earnestly formulated scientific and effective rectification measures, formulated a work plan in combination with the actual work, and gradually rectified the existing problems.

I. Main problems

(1) Weak infrastructure;

The infrastructure construction of our hospital is seriously lagging behind, the houses are old and aging, and now they are worn out, the walls are cracked in many places, the floors are leaking in many places, the structure is unreasonable, the lines are seriously aging, and the fire safety is not up to standard.

(2) Yichuan County Maternal and Child Health Hospital was founded in 1963, with a small area and insufficient business premises;

Our hospital covers an area of 3.3 mu, which is small, with a business room area of only 6,900 ㎡. The outpatient ward is crowded and the medical environment is poor, which seriously restricts the development of our hospital.

(3) Our hospital is the only specialized hospital for women and children in the county, which undertakes the health of more than 500,000 women and children in the county;

The infusion center is only more than 20 square meters, the pediatric medical beds are seriously insufficient, the conditions in the neonatal department are simple, and the fire safety hazards are serious;
