As a head nurse in neonatology department, I am well aware of my responsibilities: not only to work hard, but also to have superb skills, learn to manage, think positively, solve difficulties and take responsibility bravely. "It's not that spring stands out, but that spring is full of flowers." Only when the departments are upgraded as a whole can medical safety be fundamentally guaranteed. So I pay special attention to department management. We have formulated various rules and regulations, strictly implemented the medical core system and hospital sense control system, reasonable APN scheduling system, monthly nursing business study, and established a reward and punishment mechanism to ensure our medical safety. At the same time, through the selection of excellent nursing in the minds of departments, organize collective activities, promote the unity of departments and increase the cohesion of departments. In addition, we also attach great importance to summing up and upgrading in our work: for example, when the baby is hospitalized in our department, the family members of the child often ask about the baby's umbilical care? How does the baby take a bath? How to feed? In order to meet the needs of parents, I hold knowledge lectures to help them. Through lectures, practice with family members, explain step by step, and let them operate by themselves until their families really master this knowledge. In my usual work, I summed up the symptoms and characteristics of hypoglycemia newborns: I always like to drink milk all the time, or always look for milk to drink. Most of my family members say that they have been breastfeeding their babies, but the babies still seem to be looking for milk to drink. The baby has this symptom, which may be hypoglycemia. Check blood sugar, basically hypoglycemia. According to this symptom, children with hypoglycemia can be found in time, so that the baby can be diagnosed and treated in time. As a new department, it is normal to encounter difficulties, but I believe that there are always more solutions than difficulties, and there is no problem that cannot be solved. What I want to do is to set a good example, build confidence, spread positive energy and guide them to make continuous progress.
Of course, I also have many shortcomings, such as: one-sided thinking, easy to be impatient when encountering things, and I need to constantly improve myself in my future work and improve my management and technical ability.
