Symptoms and signs of vulvar leukoplakia

1 vulvar pruritus and leukoplakia generally do not show any abnormalities in early examination. Only by carefully observing the vulva of patients can we find that their color is lighter than that of healthy women. In the early stage, it was mainly manifested as "strange itching", and the severity of itching was regardless of season and day and night.

2 The color of vulva skin is abnormal. When the local itching is mild, the skin color is dark red or pink, and it can also be grayish white or grayish blue, mixed with well-defined white keratotic plaques with different shapes and sizes. White will appear when hyperkeratosis occurs, and patients with vulvar squamous epithelial hyperplasia will feel itchy more seriously.

3 vulvar fissure vulvar leukoplakia has red spots the size of rice grains on the local skin surface. Due to itching, superficial skin ulcers, chapped skin, bursting into yellow water, and scratching gradually turned white. Ulcer patients are mostly in the vaginal opening, and a wider area will spread to the anus.

4 Squamous epithelial hyperplasia Due to long-term scratching and constant friction, the skin becomes thicker like fur pigment. If the ulcer does not heal for a long time, especially when there is abnormal uplift, it will be mostly small polygonal flat papules, which will cluster into sheets and show fish-scale changes. Be alert to the possibility of local cancer.
