What is floor heating?

Floor heating (full name: radiant floor heating) is to use the whole floor as radiator, heat the floor evenly with low-temperature heat medium not higher than 60℃, and supply heat to the room by radiation and convection through the floor to achieve the purpose of comfortable heating. According to the heat medium, it can be divided into liquid circulation system and electric floor heating, and according to the pavement structure, it can be divided into wet floor heating and dry floor heating.

Radiant floor heating is an ancient and brand-new technology. In China, floor heating can be traced back to the end of Ming Dynasty, which is a kind of heating method only available to the royal family. For example, in the existing Forbidden City in China, a flue is built under the floor of blue bricks, and smoke is transmitted through the flue in winter, and smoke windows are arranged reasonably, so that the blue bricks will spread indoors after heating up, thus producing the effect of indoor warmth. After that, the heating methods of fire wall and fire kang appeared in the rural areas of northern China, and the underground kang appeared in South Korea and Japan. Since ancient times, human beings have been inheriting civilization, pioneering and innovating, and making continuous progress. With the advent of the era of science and technology, the floor heating technology has developed from the initial flue radiation kang heating to the floor radiation heating with modern materials as the heat medium. This technology was applied in developed countries as early as 1930s, and in China it was applied in the Great Hall of the People, Overseas Chinese Hotel and other projects in 1950s.

Classification introduction

According to different heating methods, radiant floor heating is mainly divided into liquid circulation system and electric floor heating, which can be divided into heating cable heating, electric heating film heating and carbon fiber heating.

Liquid circulation system, namely low-temperature hot water floor radiant heating, is a heating method that uses hot water with the temperature not higher than 60℃ as heating medium, circulates in the heating pipeline, heats the floor, and supplies heat to the room through radiation (primary) and convection (secondary) heat transfer on the ground.

Radiant heating with heating cable on the ground is a heating method that uses low-temperature heating cable as the heat source to heat the floor and supply heat to the room through radiation (primary) and convection (secondary) heat transfer on the ground. Common heating cables are divided into single-core cables and double-core cables. Double-core cable has no magnetic field and radiation.

Low-temperature radiant electrothermal film is a translucent polyester film, which can generate heat after being electrified. It is made of conductive special ink and metal current-carrying strip through processing and hot pressing between insulating polyester films. When working, the carbon-based ink is used as a heater to send heat into the space in the form of radiation, so as to warm the human body.

YX foam concrete is made of special foaming agent, cement and auxiliary materials in a proper proportion. YX foam concrete insulation material is a new construction method of floor heating insulation layer developed through technical transformation.

Advantages of foam concrete in floor heating;

1. Uniform and comfortable heat dissipation: the heating principle of floor heating system is radiation heat transfer. Compared with forced convection circulation hot air conditioning heating, the dust flow in the air is much smaller, which reduces the spread of harmful bacteria in the air and makes the indoor environment more sanitary and clean. The floor heating system also creatively uses the characteristics of human body temperature. Care from your feet makes you feel comfortable and makes your family feel warm.

2. Clean and healthy: the floor heating system can effectively promote blood circulation in the feet, thereby improving blood circulation in the whole body, promoting metabolism and inhibiting cardiovascular diseases; It is especially suitable for the elderly and children, and has more preventive and therapeutic effects on patients with arthritis and old cold legs. And improve the autoimmune ability to some extent.

3. Environmental protection and energy saving: Compared with the traditional convection heating mode, the floor heating system can save about 30% of energy, and the heat loss of floor heating is small during transmission, and the heat is concentrated at the height of human benefit. Even if the indoor set temperature is 2 ~ 5℃ lower than that of mobile heating mode, people can have the same warm feeling. Floor heating can fully save energy and will not produce any noise and dust, so it is a very environmentally friendly and energy-saving product.

4. Beautiful and generous: after the whole system is installed, there is no radiator and its branch pipes in the room, which invisibly increases the indoor usable area by 2% to 3%, which is not only convenient for decoration and furniture layout, but also saves tens of thousands of yuan for your house price per square meter.

5. Safe and reliable: the floor heating is resistant to acid, alkali and salt corrosion, high pressure, high temperature, infiltration, rust and pipeline scaling, smooth inside, low friction, good water quality, non-toxic and environmental protection.

6. Long service life: The service life of floor heating is more than 50 years, which is almost the same as that of buildings, greatly reducing the troubles caused by radiator running, leakage, dripping, water leakage and maintenance.

7. High-efficiency sound insulation: In China, precast slabs or cast-in-place slabs are generally used, and the sound insulation effect is poor. Going upstairs will affect the downstairs. The floor heating increases the insulation layer, which has a very good sound insulation effect and can reduce noise pollution. There is no noise in the heating process, which is beneficial to the physical and mental health of family members.

Characteristics of floor heating foam concrete thermal insulation material;

(1) Good thermal insulation performance: its thermal conductivity is lower than 0.20W/(m.k).

(2) High heat resistance. The heat resistance can reach above 400℃, and there is no thermal decomposition, which will not cause thermal insulation failure.

(3) Environmental protection, non-toxic and harmless. YX foam concrete does not contain any toxic components, foaming agent and various additives have no volatile harmful substances, which is beneficial to indoor environment.

(4) strong ability. The compressive strength is 0.6~0.8 MPa, and the compressive performance is good.

(5) low use cost. The cost is 30% ~ 40% lower than that of polystyrene foam, and the economic advantage is obvious.

(6) The process is simple and the construction speed is fast. YX foam concrete can be poured flat without laying layer by layer, and the construction speed is faster than that of polystyrene foam plastic board 1/3.

(7) There is no joint, which reduces the heat loss caused by the joint.

The scope of use of floor heating:

Residence: independent residence, apartment building, office building, etc.

Public buildings: schools, libraries, hospitals, banks, halls, restaurants, etc.

Sports and entertainment facilities: football field, gym, tennis court, swimming pool.

Industrial facilities: factory workshops, workshops, baths, thermal insulation facilities, etc.

Others: greenhouses, botanical gardens, transportation facilities, airports, etc.

Brief introduction of geothermal radiation heating

Geothermal radiant heating, referred to as floor heating for short, is a heating method in which hot water or heating cables with a temperature not higher than 60 degrees Celsius are buried in the coil system under the geothermal floor to heat the whole floor and radiate heat evenly to the room through the floor. Compared with traditional heating methods, geothermal radiation heating has many characteristics such as comfort, energy saving and environmental protection. In foreign countries, this technology is not only widely used in public buildings such as civil houses, hospitals, shopping malls, office buildings, gymnasiums, swimming pools, but also widely used in flower beds, factories, football fields, hangars, vegetable greenhouses, and even used in outdoor roads, roofs, stairs, airport runways and various industrial pipelines. More than 50% of new buildings in developed countries such as Korea, Japan, Europe and America have adopted geothermal radiation heating.

Floor heating is also a new heating method that began to rise in the north of the Yellow River in China in recent years. It is widely used in Shandong, Tianjin, Northeast China, Inner Mongolia, Hebei and other places. For example, in Tianjin, floor heating accounts for 40% of new buildings and is widely welcomed by residents. China municipal government has listed floor heating as a key building energy-saving technology. In terms of development, more than 60% residents will use floor heating in the future. The application prospect is gratifying and the development market is huge.

Compared with the common cooling gas heating method, the heating method with low-temperature hot water radiating upwards has many advantages:

First, it meets the comfort requirements of human physiological fever: people will feel warmer and more comfortable when they start to heat from their feet;

The second is to save indoor area and space: it can save the space occupied by installing radiator and warm air pipe, and increase the use area by 2% ~ 3%;

Third, it can make the indoor heating temperature uniform: after floor heating, the room temperature is distributed in a gradient from bottom to top, the air convection is weakened, the water loss is reduced, and the shortcomings such as thirst caused by radiator heating are overcome;

Fourth, a wide range of heat sources, such as underground hot water, industrial waste heat, heating pipe network, household heating sources and so on.

Fifth, saving energy and money: compared with other heating methods, the relative Rayleigh number Ra

Sixth, increase the thickness of the floor: Moreover, aerated (foamed) concrete has good sound absorption effect, so it has a good floor sound insulation effect.
