Bamin mainly originated from Fujian Bamin surname, which was divided into eight counties and eight armies in the Northern Song Dynasty, eight counties and eight armies in the Southern Song Dynasty, eight roads in the Yuan Dynasty and eight counties in the Ming Dynasty.
