What does microcirculation mean?

Microcirculation, also known as capillary circulation, is a kind of microcirculation system in human body, which refers to the microcirculation formed by capillaries and their surrounding tissues. The main function of microcirculation is to deliver oxygen and nutrients to various tissues and cells, and at the same time discharge carbon dioxide and metabolic waste.

Microcirculation involves many physiological tissues and biochemical reactions such as capillaries, histiocytes, tiny lymphatic vessels and interstitial fluid. If the microcirculation function is not good, it will lead to various diseases, such as coronary heart disease, diabetes, hypertension and so on.

So to stay healthy, we need to pay attention to the maintenance of microcirculation. Common maintenance methods include massage, exercise, maintaining good living habits and supplementing enough water. In addition, some foods and herbs are also considered to help promote microcirculation, such as turmeric, pepper, cinnamon, medlar, green tea and so on.
