How to judge the battery state
The battery is the power supply of all vehicle electrical equipment, so we can judge the state of the battery through the following phenomena.
1. When the car is parked, the instrument backlight darkens and there will be flashing marks.
2. The horn becomes louder and even can't be pressed.
3. If you can't get a taxi at a time, it takes two or three times, and the start-up operation is only cutting sound.
4. The battery lights on the dashboard are on (some are caused by generator failure and no power generation).
The above points are all phenomena that the battery is insufficient or dead.
How to protect batteries in winter
1. Turn off all electrical equipment before flameout. Electrical equipment such as warm air and display screen can reduce the load when driving.
2. When it can't be started continuously once, the interval is about 10 second, so as to avoid further depletion of the battery due to rapid discharge.
3. At the end of parking, the vehicle should be charged every other week, and it is best to drive for a certain distance, which can effectively improve the charging efficiency and avoid the phenomenon of flat tire (running tire and jumping tire).
4. Check the battery regularly. For example, whether the electrolyte is sufficient, whether the anode and cathode of the battery are oxidized to green and white, and so on. When problems are found, they should be dealt with in time. Traveling in winter, it is best to have two jumpers or a mobile emergency power supply on the bus.
5. For vehicles with start-stop system, although there is battery monitoring, they will not start and stop when the power is insufficient. However, it is best to disable it manually when getting on the bus and use it after driving for a certain distance. Although the charging and discharging current of the start-stop battery is large, it will not be charged in time if the driving distance is short. Long time will inevitably reduce battery life.
6. If a 24-hour recorder is installed for monitoring, a voltage stabilizer must be installed. Although the current batteries are basically equipped with monitoring systems, when the battery power drops to a certain extent, all electrical appliances will be automatically powered off. However, in winter, the capacity of the battery itself is reduced, and the capacity change and temperature have great influence, which makes it easy to miss the car.
What if I can't get a taxi in winter?
1. If the car is equipped with emergency power supply, it can save itself (some emergency power supplies require that the positive and negative poles cannot be connected reversely). If there is a jumper, you can seek the assistance of other vehicles. Also be careful not to connect the positive and negative electrodes wrong.
You can unplug the rescue phone. For example, insurance calls (this is not included in the insurance frequency) and repair shop rescue calls.
3. Manual transmission models can be pushed (automatic transmission is not used for pushing). It should be noted that the gear is preferably in the third gear, and this transmission ratio is relatively easy to control.
