Xu Lei, the rotating CEO of JD.COM Retail Group, is the chairman of JD Health. While serving as CEO of JD Health, Xin Lijun will continue to serve as the president of JD.COM Retail Group's life service business group. As a subsidiary of JD.COM Group, which specializes in managing big health-related businesses, this is the first time that JD Health has appointed a CEO. At present, JD Health's products and services have initially achieved the coverage of the whole pharmaceutical industry chain, the whole medical process, the whole health scene and the whole life cycle of users, and built a complete set of "Internet+medical health" ecology in the industry.

It is understood that JD Health officially announced its independent operation on May 19. Relying on the capabilities and resource advantages of JD.COM Group, JD Health will gradually improve the industrial layout of "Internet+medical health" on the basis of the current four business sectors of medical and health e-commerce, Internet medical care, health services and smart solutions, and become the flagship enterprise of the health industry.

Specifically, in the medical and health e-commerce sector, JD Health now has drug retail, drug wholesale, and non-pharmaceutical pan-health commodity retail; Internet medical services mainly focus on patients' needs, and provide online registration, online consultation and other medical services, combining the advantages of JD.COM. COM's unique drug supply chain, creating a closed loop of "medical+drugs" on the industry line; The health service section provides users with consumer medical services including physical examination, medical beauty, dentistry, genetic testing, vaccine appointment and so on. The "Smart Solutions" section mainly serves offline pharmacies, hospitals, government departments and other partners, providing them with information and intelligent solutions based on internet plus technology.

In the above business segments, JD Health has successfully built core products and sub-brands such as JD.COM Pharmacy, Yaojing Cuisine and JD.COM Internet Hospital. Among them, after more than three years of development, JD.COM Pharmacy has become one of the largest online and offline retail pharmacies, covering over-the-counter drugs, medical devices, health products, tonics, family planning supplies and other pan-health goods; Cai Jing, a third-party drug wholesale trading platform, has maintained rapid growth since its launch.
