Views and Understanding of College Students' Mental Health Education

Mental health is very important to us, no less than physical health, career success and so on. Since I took part in the topic of mental health, I have got a lot of help and enlightenment, which has changed me from the inside out. Become calmer, more confident and more cheerful than before.

Mental health refers to developing one's mental state to the best within the range of not contradicting others' mental health physically, intellectually and emotionally. The harmony of body, intelligence and emotion, mutual humility and happiness in adapting to the environment and interpersonal relationships, giving full play to one's abilities, and living an efficient life in work and occupation are also signs of mental health. Psychologically, people with mental health can be optimistic, have a positive attitude towards themselves, know their potential strengths and weaknesses and develop themselves. Their cognitive system and environmental adaptation system can maintain normal and effective operation, and they have good interpersonal relationships while developing themselves. In real life, they can give consideration to both physiological needs and social ethics. At the same time, they can actively debug when facing practical problems and have good psychological adaptability. From the perspective of social behavior, only mentally healthy people can become all-round developed people. Mentally healthy people can adapt well to the social environment, participate in social competition with a positive attitude towards life, have a good ability to withstand setbacks, can handle interpersonal relationships normally, their behavior habits conform to the living environment and cultural customs, their roles conform to social requirements, keep good contact with society and make contributions to society.

College students are a special group, and they have their own characteristics in age, knowledge structure, living environment, study and communication. There are five factors that affect college students' mental health, namely, physiological factors, social factors, family environment factors, school factors and personal factors. At present, the problems that affect college students' mental health mainly include emotional problems, future problems and interpersonal problems. Emotional problems need us to cultivate correct emotional views and values. In the future, the pressure of employment competition is increasing, and college students are quite uncertain about their future employment. We should help them establish a correct concept of employment. Finally, there is the problem of interpersonal relationship. College students' psychological maturity. At this stage, they need others' understanding and care to adjust their stress. To have a good interpersonal relationship, we must first treat others sincerely. College students should strengthen the correct understanding of common psychological problems and mental diseases, so as to safeguard their mental health independently and cautiously, and face and deal with psychological troubles scientifically and rationally.

Through the course of college students' mental health education, we have realized some psychological problems, which enabled us to understand mental health and self more intuitively and accurately, effectively improved our self-psychological debugging ability, optimized our psychological quality and gradually improved ourselves.
