Five elements of emotional intelligence

1, self-awareness

Detecting an emotion when it first appears is the core of emotional IQ. The ability to monitor emotional changes at all times is the basis of self-understanding and psychological understanding.

Human emotions include indignation, sadness, fear, anxiety, happiness, love, surprise, disgust, shame and so on. People who are self-aware can detect the change of their emotions. They have positive views on life, mental health and self-control. Self-awareness can effectively manage your emotions and keep your mind and brain healthy. 2. Self-management

Regulate one's emotions. Make it timely and appropriate. This ability is based on self-awareness. People with high ability can quickly jump out of setbacks and failures in life, rally and catch up. On emotional issues, maintain an appropriate proportion of positive emotions and negative emotions.

It determines whether life is happy or not, and suppressing unpleasant emotions is the key to maintaining emotional health. Furthermore, self-management people grow up in reflection, and overcome their weaknesses, make up for their weaknesses and improve themselves through various self-knowledge.

3. Self-motivation and adjustment

This refers to the ability of people to mobilize and command emotions by obeying a certain goal. No matter what kind of success, you must have emotional self-control, delay satisfaction, restrain impulse, be self-motivated and actively and enthusiastically invest, in order to ensure excellent results. Self-motivated people can grasp their own vision, values, goals and hopes, control themselves to keep their passion and move forward towards their own vision and values.

4, empathy communication-identify with other people's emotions

Empathy, to put it bluntly, is the ability to understand the feelings and needs of others and the views of others on things. This is another ability developed on the basis of emotional self-cognition, and it is the most important interpersonal communication ability.

Empathy means "touching feelings" and at the same time "knowing people's feelings". It is the ability to share others' feelings, empathize with others' situations and objectively understand and analyze others' feelings. People can keenly feel the needs and desires of others through subtle social signals.

5. Social and communication skills

Being able to control others' emotions is the core of mastering interpersonal skills. Interpersonal skills refer to the skills of controlling emotional reactions with others, understanding others' emotions, coping with these emotions and regulating their further development.

The art of regulating others' emotions and interpersonal communication requires the maturity of two other emotional skills: self-management and empathy. A healthy model needs to achieve a balance and integration between showing the true self and using social skills.
