The American Cancer Society (ACS) is a national voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer in the United States.
The American Cancer Society was founded in 19 13, distributed in 12 areas of the United States (including Puerto Rico), with about 900 offices and thousands of volunteers. It is headquartered at the American Cancer Society Center in Atlanta. The official magazines are Cancer Journal, Cancer Clinician (CA) and Cancer Cytopathology.
