Verb-object phrase means that the former word indicates the action and the latter word is the object dominated by the action (the object dominated by the verb is the object). In the sentence that running is good for health, running is a verb, good for health is an object, and it is an object dominated by action.
Other phrase types:
1, coordinate phrase: words and words indicate a coordinate relationship.
Examples: teachers and students, big dogs and puppies, Faye Wong and Nicholas Tse.
2, phrase: the former word modifies the latter word, and the latter word means the subject. Modifiers before verbs and adjectives are called adverbials, and modifiers before nouns and pronouns are called attributes.
Example: crocodile tears; Very cool; A slim figure.
3. Postcomplement: The former word means subject (often verbs and adjectives), and the latter word complements the former word.
Example: Very cool. See through.
4. Subject-predicate phrase: the subject is the object of statement (often nouns and pronouns), and the predicate is the content of statement (often verbs and adjectives).
Example: God is dead; My head is dizzy.
