Self-consciousness and mental health

These days, I am reading Xin Li's Mental Health Notes: Psychosomatic Adjustment and Spiritual Development in the Eyes of a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM Ancient Books Publishing House).

The author of this book, Xin Li, is a Chinese doctor with a master's degree in psychosomatic medicine. He studied under Mr. Song Zuomin, a famous old Chinese doctor. He is the author of Notes on Children's Health: Children's Health, Psychology and Education in the Eyes of a Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Enlightenment of Classical Chinese Medicine: Life, Health and Life in the Eyes of a Traditional Chinese Medicine.

I read the first article "Self-awareness and Mental Health" these days, and several opinions aroused my voice. I would like to share them with you here.

1. Consciousness, body, emotion and thought.

When we live and work, do we pay attention to whether our bodies are relaxed? Or there is a pain point somewhere, somewhere tight, or whole body tight. ...

Physical feeling is very important. We usually focus on the outside, thinking about things, shopping, watching TV, talking to people and paying attention to others' reactions, while our physical and mental state is ignored.

The feeling of the body enters our consciousness for the awareness of the body.

In addition to paying attention to whether your body is relaxed, you should also pay attention to what you are thinking. Sometimes we are clear and stable. Although there are various ideas in my mind, it does not affect our normal work. This is relatively stable.

Even if we quarrel with others, we know clearly what we are doing and that we are angry. At this time, the air is clear.

People who live in a clear and stable state for a long time will be healthier physically and mentally, have a more harmonious family and have a more developed career.

I always feel that I am too rational and ignore the physical and emotional communication. There is a lot of dissatisfaction with this.

This chapter makes me understand that "everyone's life activities have his dominant mode, some are mainly physical, some are mainly emotional, and some are mainly brain or thought". It doesn't matter whether it's right or wrong. We just need to know and be familiar with our own characteristics, have a deep understanding, develop in a balanced way, be impartial and have less inner conflicts. This is the content of our lifelong learning.

There should be an appropriate part of free time and mental state in life.

This passage has relieved me of a thing that has been bothering me for a long time. Before I plan to do anything, or when I am bored, I have to play several computer versions of military chess. When playing this game, I can regret chess and computer tricks without scruple. It can be said that in order to win, I will do whatever it takes, take no responsibility and not worry about being rejected, discriminated against and affecting my feelings. ...

I've always wondered why I did this, and sometimes I even despise my self-control for it. At this point, I suddenly understood "I am looking for inner balance!" " Most people have this situation, and I am not alone. "

3. Use the growth of a tree as a metaphor for "how the relational model is solidified"

This passage aptly describes how our relationship model is solidified and why it is difficult to break the solidified relationship model.
