Breast-fed children's stools are mostly golden yellow, and occasionally they are as thin as thick soup after water, which is normal. Breast milk helps to inhibit the bacteria that cause diarrhea. Breast-fed babies defecate frequently because breast milk contains soluble cellulose oligosaccharides, and breast-fed babies have predominant bifidobacteria in their intestines, so breast-fed babies have more loose stool and more times. At the same time, repeated defecation also reflects that the baby has got enough breast milk.
Generally, the most normal thing within 3 years old is this: at first glance, it looks shaped, but when it is pulled out, it is deformed, and the appearance has a lot to do with the feeding situation. But if you pull your stool out like an adult, it means you have some serious constipation.
Exclusive breast-feeding: the feces are orange-yellow, generally uniform and viscous, with occasional tiny breast lumps (breast flaps) and peculiar smell, 2-3 times a day. Even if you defecate 3-5 times a day, but the defecation is sticky without too much water, it is considered that everything is normal.
Milk powder feeding: For babies fed with milk (including infant milk powder) and fresh goat's milk, the feces are light yellow, mostly abnormal, thick and milky (milk flap), alkaline or neutral, with a large amount and a bad smell, 1-2 times a day.
Mixed feeding: The feces of the breast-feeding and nursing people are similar to those of the breast-feeding people, but they are yellow and soft. After adding cereal, eggs, meat, vegetables, fruits and other baby food supplements, the fecal characteristics are close to those of adults, once a day.
Only loose stool with blood, egg soup defecation and water sample must go to the hospital, parents don't have to worry too much. It is suggested that before going to the hospital, it is best to ask Mama Bao to take a stool sample for examination.
The first method is to store the defecation in a packaging bag, plastic box or plastic wrap as soon as possible after the baby defecates.
The second method is to spread a small piece of plastic wrap on the corresponding part before the baby wears the diaper, so that the defecation will be arranged on the plastic wrap, so that the water sample is not easily absorbed by the diaper, which is convenient for the doctor to check.
