In fact, kelp has high nutritional value and is rich in protein, amino acids and vitamins. But even if these benefits are told to children, only a few children will appreciate it, and other children will refuse to eat kelp because of its appearance, taste and taste. Because of this, I was thinking, can we use an activity to let children establish a new understanding of kelp by touching, seeing, doing and tasting various senses? So, I designed the activity of "Long Kelp".
Second, the activity objectives
Combined with children's rejection of kelp's own characteristics, we should first let children know some basic knowledge of kelp, so I set my first goal: to know that kelp is a kind of seafood with rich nutrition. Since children don't like to eat kelp, and even some children don't even have the desire to try, it is necessary to make dishes made of kelp to arouse children's visual impact. Through colorful and beautifully arranged dishes, children want to make and taste kelp actively, so they have a second goal: to understand the different cooking methods of kelp and experience the success of making kelp food by themselves.
Third, activities are both important and difficult.
The key point of designing this activity is to know kelp and know that kelp is nutritious. Let children know the morphological characteristics and growth environment of kelp positively again, and know the rich nutrition and health care effects of kelp, which is the cognitive experience that children are required to master.
The difficulty is the combination of pictures and videos to understand the nutrition of kelp.
