Health poverty alleviation is to enable the poor to enjoy basic health services by improving the level of medical security, implementing disease classification to save Taiwan, improving medical service capacity and strengthening public health services.
Second, the overall requirements of health poverty alleviation
The general requirement is that, according to the basic strategies of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council for tackling poverty, accurately helping the poor and accurately getting rid of poverty, aiming at the problems of poverty caused by illness and returning to poverty due to illness, one policy should be adopted in one place, one file should be used for each household, one card should be used for each person, and the key areas, key populations and key diseases should be highlighted to help tackle poverty.
In view of the key and difficult problems in the development of medical and health undertakings in poverty-stricken areas, we should focus on improving the benefit level of the rural poor, integrate existing resources such as medical security, capital projects, talents and technology, increase support for poverty-stricken areas, and adopt more practical and effective policies and measures to effectively guarantee the rural poor to enjoy basic medical and health services. By 2020, the goal of "basic medical care for the poor in rural areas will be guaranteed, and the main indicators of basic medical and health services in poverty-stricken areas will be close to the national average" put forward by the poverty alleviation and development program of China.
