Wuhu primary and secondary schools officially opened their summer holidays on July 4th and ended on August 3rd1. Students will register on August 30th-3rd 1 and attend classes on September1.
Matters needing attention in primary school students' school preparation
1. Psychological preparation
For example, when chatting with children, we should consciously talk about primary school, sincerely congratulate the children on growing up to be a primary school student, let the children feel the pride of growing up from the tone of their parents, and never give them pressure because they go to primary school. For example, "If you don't obey, let the school teacher take care of you." This will cause children to be afraid of going to school and produce psychological pressure.
Prepare for health
After registering their children, parents should first take their children to the hospital nursery for a comprehensive physical examination. Including the child's physical development, visual (auditory) ability, attention state and so on. For children who have difficulties in school interviews, intelligence tests should be conducted when necessary in order to find and treat potential factors affecting children's learning at an early stage, such as anemia, trace element deficiency and lead poisoning. It will lead to poor physical fitness and inattention. Children with ADHD, inattention and learning difficulties should be further examined to eliminate mental retardation, ADHD and other problems. If you find that your child has vision problems, communicate with the class teacher in time when you report for duty, so that the class teacher can give the child proper care when allocating seats.
3. Ability preparation
The time of each class in primary school is 45 minutes, which is longer than that in kindergarten. So we need children's attention. Therefore, parents can try to assign tasks to their children, such as telling stories and drawing pictures to their parents, asking their children to keep quiet and concentrate in the process of completing tasks, and enhancing their time awareness and binding force.
Teach children common sense about school life, and let them keep and organize schoolbags, textbooks, picture books and stationery; Learn to sharpen pencils, use scissors, pencil sharpeners, erasers and other tools, and make simple game AIDS according to teachers' requirements.
4. Behavior habit preparation
Learning to listen carefully is an important prerequisite for children to concentrate on listening after entering school. For example, when parents ask their children, they should put down their toys and look at their parents. After speaking, it's best to let them repeat it again to overcome the bad habit of listening while playing and being careless.
Kindergartens often have meals and snacks. After school, there is generally no extra meal between classes. Children should gradually develop a good eating habit of eating on time, especially breakfast, and develop the habit of not drinking water or going to the toilet in class.
