Healthy pop-up book.

first part

Good evening, dear friends. I'm Ling Xue from Heilongjiang Morning Reading Group. Is the mother of two children, the eldest daughter is in graduate school, and the youngest son is in grade three. The difference between the two children is 9 years. On behalf of a group, I share some experiences about parent-child reading.

My sharing is divided into three parts:

The first part is: How do I do parent-child reading? How do children read at all stages of their growth?

The second part: What preparations parents and children need for reading, and how can children without reading habits guide them to fall in love with reading?

The third part: Why should my school carry out parent-child reading and the effect of our reading.

At the regular meeting last Friday, I said that because my daughter and I have been reading a book for a long time, we have the same spiritual world and the same discourse system. This mutual understanding, trust and support based on the same values will solve many problems in our growth, so I think my daughter has grown up smoothly and has a very good relationship with me, which is largely because. It is precisely because I tasted the sweetness of parent-child reading in my daughter that I was ready to study with my son Dongdong as soon as he was born. Today I want to share my practical experience with you.

At different ages of children, parent-child reading also has different forms and contents.

0 to 2 years old is the enlightenment period of children's listening and language ability development. Parents and children can read it. If we can start from this time, it should be the prime time to help children build their interest in reading. The content of reading is mainly colorful and simple picture books and ancient poems. When Dongdong babbled, I read him many nursery rhymes, and I also read Tang poetry to him as nursery rhymes. He was also allowed to treat books as toys that can be torn and chewed, which made him have an indissoluble bond with books since he was a child.

I clearly remember that when my son was still crawling in bed for six months, I chased him and read him the Enlightenment of Melody and nursery rhymes. He often stops and looks at me with sparkling eyes, full of joy.

After I was one year old, I began to read him a Tang poem every night, picking out the simplest and most catchy sentences and reading them to him. Every time he hears "Gushan Temple is in the northwest of Jiating, the water level is low, several early birds are fighting to warm the trees, and whose new swallow pecks at the spring mud", he will giggle out loud. Whenever he hears "Goose, Goose, Goose, Think of Xiang Tiange", he will stumble into the yard to find the goose. I think although he still can't understand the meaning, the child's heart is the most sensitive and pure.

When Dongdong was one or two years old, I always put him to sleep with fairy tales at night. In the dim light, I told him in the warmest and most touching voice, and then I looked at him by my side, slowly closed my eyes and entered a sweet dream.

At that time, I had to "prepare lessons" during the day, buy a complete set of fairy tales and recite them one by one, just to let my son fall asleep with the most beautiful fairy tales in the world. Andersen's fairy tales, Grimm's fairy tales and other classics handed down from ancient times have beautiful language, vivid plots and profound implications. Perhaps such a young child can't fully understand the contents of fairy tales, but his mother has created a dream world for him with fairy tales. Will it make him relive his life?

After two years old, children can basically speak and express themselves independently. At this time, parent-child reading plays an increasingly important role in their intellectual development. At present, excellent picture books and illustrated children's encyclopedias have become the theme of parent-child reading. I remember that after Dongdong was two years old, seven to eight o'clock every day became our fixed reading time. At one o'clock, he sat on the small bench, and I sat on the big bench next to him, starting our * * * time.

From the ugly duckling to the daughter of the sea, from the little prince to the magical Mr. Fox ... This hour every day is quiet and beautiful, romantic and warm, full of Dongdong's growth footprints, and it is also the most precious life memory he gave me.

When he meets his favorite stories, paragraphs and sentences, he will point to the book and let me read it to him again and again. I was a little impatient at first, but I found that he listened to those familiar stories over and over again, began to imagine the scene, and began to talk to the protagonist in the book. He will tell stories to toy pigs, play games with flowers and plants, and meet challenges with toy elephants ... I think maybe this is the process for children to enjoy reading, and maybe this is the charm of reading.

In Dongdong's pre-school era, many parents around me were proud that "my child already knows 100 words", but I didn't let him know the words, just kept learning for him and accompanying him to read. I think those few hundred words will be known sooner or later. It's no big deal. It is the most important thing to open the door to children's hearts with reading.

In the first and second grades of primary school, children will complete the basic learning from pinyin to Chinese characters. Therefore, at this time, children's reading can be based on "Qiaoshu", which is in the form of words with pinyin and pictures. Children can gradually transition from pinyin reading to text reading, consolidate what they have learned while reading, and let children feel a sense of accomplishment when they start reading independently.

After attending primary school, Dongdong began to learn reading formally. At this time, I bought him a lot of bridge books, and he soon entered independent reading. In addition, at this stage, I still insist on reading to him, because his literacy is not very large. Many times, I read for a while and he read for a while, which not only strengthened his literacy, but also solved those places he didn't understand in time. His understanding far exceeds his literacy ability, which can be said to be parents and children.

How to study after the third grade of primary school?

After entering the third grade of primary school, children have completed the literacy stage. They should learn to use the Chinese characters they have learned and read books that suit them independently without their parents. However, after entering this stage, it does not mean that the tasks of parents and children have been completed. Reading is the child's own business.

On the contrary, at this time, parent-child reading has entered a most critical stage, because after that, it is the period when children's cognitive ability advances by leaps and bounds, and they begin to look at the world and life with their eyes open, and gradually form three views. If parents can read what he has read, love what he loves, recommend their favorite good books to their children, and form a benign interaction with their children, then reading really plays his most powerful role and helps children solve a series of growing troubles.

I remember reading Shen's My Childhood, and Dongdong and I discussed running away from home. He said that our children are like kites, and the kite string is the love in the hands of parents. Without this thread, the kite can neither fly high nor fly far. "

Now that my daughter and son have grown up and have more ideas of their own, we still often argue with each other about a writer because of our different understanding of a certain character. I know very well that if I want to be on the same channel with my children all the time, I must bend down to listen to their inner voices, constantly update my views and keep my thoughts up to date. In this process, children gradually learn to correct some of their own prejudices and learn to accept other people's views with a more inclusive attitude.

Now Dongdong has entered adolescence, and sometimes he will be a little angry. When he gets home, he will close the door and immerse himself in his own small world. But I never worry, because I understand him. I know that years of reading have established an indestructible root system in our hearts. Even if his life is thriving in the future, our roots will always embrace each other tightly.

Part two?

? Give an answer to what may happen when reading * * *.

As long as there is a heart that wants to study and grow up with children+fixed time every day. Then choose a good book and it's ok!

You can use your spare time to listen to books with your children.

There are many excellent children's books in Himalayan or some listening platforms, which can be listened to together. Those audio, vivid, with music, expressive and infectious, can be listened to selectively! My son listened to many famous works in the Himalayas, such as Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Water Margin, Legend of Heroes in Sui and Tang Dynasties and so on.

Dongdong seems to like reading naturally, but not all children do. Most children's reading interests and habits still need to be cultivated.

When can we consciously cultivate children's interest in reading? Under normal circumstances, children can start in six or seven months. At this time, children can generally get up and catch books, so give them to him, let him catch them and let him play. It may also bite and tear books, so let him tear them. Strictly speaking, this is not a formal reading, but it is a preparation period for formal reading. Books of this period don't need words. Such books are not easy for children to tear. At the same time, we should also provide some paper books for children to read and tear together. They can also provide children with some pop-up book to stimulate their interest and curiosity. This stage lasts until they are two years old, which belongs to the period of playing books. The purpose is to cultivate children's interest in books.

Children can enter the cognitive reading stage after they are two years old. As mentioned above, children aged two to four especially like to listen to fairy tales, so books in this period can also be based on fairy tales. It should be noted that the fairy tales that children like to listen to at this time are not fairy tales like Grimm's fairy tales or Andersen's fairy tales. Children at this time can't understand those complicated fairy tales. They need fairy tales that can be explained clearly in dozens of simple sentences at most. At this time, books are necessary. When reading a book for the first time, parents should read it with their children. Parents first look at the pictures with their children and have a preliminary impression. Then parents should slowly read the words to their children with their fingers, point to the reading place, and then turn to the next page. Parents should point out where words and pictures correspond. For example, there is a big apple in the picture and an apple in the text. This word should correspond to the word apple and the picture of the big apple.

After reading some books many times, children can also read them to their parents according to their own wishes and interests. At this time, children may not know the words in the book, but they can often read the words almost word for word. In this process, children will know many words unconsciously. This stage should last until about four years old, and it is best not to stop every day, 15 minutes to half an hour every day, and then gradually increase.

If the previous stage is successful, children can enter the independent reading stage around the age of four. The content of the book must conform to the cognitive characteristics of children, and it must be easy for children to be interested and easy to understand. If we can provide a good atmosphere at home without affecting children's reading, children will become more and more interested in reading.

Of course, the sooner you start reading, the better. The sooner you get into the habit, the better. If you feel a little late, you should remedy it and start it as soon as possible. How to remedy it? Teach you three tricks!

The first trick: parents do demonstrations.

The easiest way to make children fall in love with reading is for parents to become scholars first. If parents make a cup of tea in their spare time every day, pick up a book and read quietly, it is easy for children to form the habit of reading unconsciously for a long time. The younger the child, the greater the influence.

The second trick: buy enough books for children.

In order to make children love reading, parents should first buy enough books for their children and put them in his room or where he can get them at hand. Some partners will ask, isn't it a waste that children can't finish so many books and don't want to read them? To know that this is a remedy, we should do it, because we don't know which book will interest children and which book will start their reading journey.

Put the bought books in the children's room and tell them to read whatever they want and whatever they like. Needless to say, don't educate children to read. If you do this, most of these books will become a burden to children. In addition, don't put the books you bought neatly on the shelf. Separate the bookshelves so that children can see the cover of the book at any time, which makes it easier to arouse children and take them away.

The third measure: "seduce" children to study.

Children don't like reading, but like watching TV. You can use TV to "lure" him to read. For example, children who like to watch Journey to the West on TV should buy books. Children always want to know the result in advance, so let them look for it in the book. Children's interest in reading often begins with a book or even a chapter and a plot.

It is also possible that there is no such TV series for a long time-children like reading and have supporting books, so they can start with books bought for their children and lure them to read.

For example, when I bought Cao Wenxuan's Straw House, my son didn't like it. One day, he was feeding pigeons outside. I said there was a child named Sang Sang, the same age as you. In order to buy pigeons, he sold the pot at home and got a fat beating from his father. He feeds and watches every day just like you, but one day he sold all his favorite pigeons with tears in his eyes. Do you want to know what happened? He immediately said, "Yes! Then why? " I quickly took out my book: read it yourself! He eagerly opened the book and began to read!

Don't expect a temptation to succeed, and don't expect a temptation to make children develop the habit of reading. This temptation must be repeated many times until the child falls in love with reading.

About book selection

There are three criteria for selecting books:

1. favorite book

2. Classic books

3. Original book

Let's talk about the first criterion-choose your favorite book. We all know that interest is the best teacher. The most important thing for our parents is to help their children develop the habit of reading independently. To do this, we must choose the books they like and the books they are most interested in. This not only helps them to develop good reading habits, but also helps them to get rid of unhealthy and vulgar books in the process of choosing books.

The second criterion is classic. Countless people's reading experience, the selected books, for children, "insurance" classic books are also divided into literature and practicality, literature includes stories, essays and poems. I won't say much about this book, because everyone is a master reader and is more expert than me. Let me talk about another kind of classic: practicality. Practical books include humanities, natural science popularization and writing. Let's talk about humanities and natural science first. These books are conducive to broadening children's horizons, increasing their accumulation of material knowledge, and also allowing children to read some books such as historical geography and classics of Chinese studies.

Books on writing are divided into: books on thinking skills and model essays. Books about thinking skills are books based on mastering some skills. The model book refers to books such as composition selection, and it is not recommended to read more. Children read such books because of the need of imitation. Everyone should be good at summarizing such books, such as how the author uses writing skills. How to choose materials? How is the article structured and laid out? So that you can use it flexibly when writing your own articles. If your child is young and can't summarize, it is recommended to read less such books, because it will limit children's writing ideas.

The third criterion is the original work. It is not difficult to find that there are many abbreviated and rewritten books on the market. Personally, I suggest reading this version of the book less and reading the original.

the third part

Parenting education has benefited me a lot. Combined with my years of experience in running a school, I realized that if you want to help a child grow up fundamentally, you need to help them do two things well:

Help them form the habit of reading, the sooner the better.

2. Let the children's parents study with their children. Because the main factor that hinders children's development is the cognitive margin of adults, parents who don't study and don't study will definitely hinder their children's growth.

So since the outbreak in February 2020, everyone has been isolated at home, and I initiated the initiative of parent-child reading. Besides the students and parents in my own school, there are many students and parents outside our school. I also study with my school teachers and share my summary every weekend. I have finished reading the 27th book of * * * *. My teachers and I helped many children fall in love with reading, improved their grades, and influenced many parents to realize the importance of reading and learning, re-cultivated the habit of reading and learning, and became assistants and role models for children's growth.

The road ahead is long and there is a long way to go. I will accompany my children and my students. I will learn from you at the Millennium lighthouse reading club, make unremitting efforts, so that I can shoulder the mission of leading children to read, live up to the support and trust of many parents, and improve myself while helping children! Here, I would like to thank Qian Yue for building a platform for everyone, so that we can learn from each other and grow together. I would also like to thank a group of warm families and Qian Yue for helping me choose the topic and giving me a lot of suggestions for revision! Thank you for listening! Thank you!
