Huawei WATCH FIT 3 positioning trajectory is not accurate?

If you start running on the playground with a watch, please exercise on the standard 400-meter playground in order to make the track record more accurate.

Please keep the watch ephemeris data updated.

The updating method is as follows:

1. Before starting outdoor sports, please make sure that the watch and Huawei Health App are successfully connected for 5- 10 minutes under the normal mobile phone network, and the GPS ephemeris data will be automatically updated.

2. When the mobile phone network is normal and the watch is successfully connected with Huawei Health App, you can click Watch Settings >; Exercise Settings > Location Services > Ephemeris Update >: Update immediately, check the validity period of ephemeris data, and manually update ephemeris.

Little knowledge: What is ephemeris data? Why should the ephemeris data on the watch be kept updated?

Simply put, ephemeris data includes satellite data for GPS positioning, including satellite orbit information, satellite status and other information. With the precise data of the satellite, the equipment can better locate and record the motion trajectory. However, the satellite data is always updated dynamically. Failure to update for a period of time will affect the positioning speed and accuracy of the equipment, so it is recommended that you update the ephemeris data on your watch in time.

The independent GPS positioning of watches must be assisted by ephemeris. Please pair with the sports health APP at least every 1~2 days to ensure the ephemeris update.

Please upgrade the watch, mobile phone and sports health APP to the latest version when pairing, and ensure that the mobile data /WLAN network of the mobile phone is normal. Please make sure that Huawei Health APP> you can see that the paired watch is connected in the device list.

Please upgrade your watch and Huawei Health App to the latest version.

We will continue to optimize the positioning experience of watches. We recommend that you upgrade your watch and Huawei Health App to the latest version before using it.

It is recommended that you start the movement in advance for positioning.

It takes some time for the watch to be positioned successfully. It is suggested that you open the sports interface for GPS positioning 5- 10 minutes before starting outdoor sports (for example, before arriving at the sports venue and in the warm-up stage), and wait for the watch to prompt for successful positioning before starting sports, so as to obtain more accurate track records.

I suggest you start exercising in an open place outdoors.

The GPS signal is greatly influenced by environmental factors, such as high-rise occlusion, signal reflection, metal interference, water reflection (lakeside, seaside) and so on, which will affect the GPS signal, resulting in slow GPS positioning or inaccurate motion trajectory. The positioning accuracy of watches is generally 5-20 meters, which can reach 5 meters in an outdoor environment with no shelter, and the error will reach 20 meters in a sheltered scene. It is recommended that you exercise outdoors in an open and sheltered environment, so that the watch can provide the best sports service.

If there is no GPS signal around you (such as indoors, tunnels, etc. ), GPS positioning will not be available.
