What is the British study visa TB?

The TB visa for studying in the UK is the proof of TB screening.

China residents who plan to stay in the UK for more than 6 months need to go to a designated institution for tuberculosis screening and confirm that they are not infected with tuberculosis before applying for a visa. If you stay in the UK for less than 6 months, you don't need to be screened for tuberculosis.

In other words, if parents plan to send their children to a British school, their stay will not exceed half a year. Then parents don't need to submit a tuberculosis screening certificate when they apply for a visa. This certificate is required if the child will stay in the UK for more than half a year due to study.

Test designation agency

Testing must be carried out by a testing agency designated by the British Home Office. Screening certificates issued by non-designated testing institutions are not accepted. The specific address and contact information of the designated institution can be selected by asking the intermediary or visiting the British government website.

Some testing institutions need to make an appointment in advance, while others don't. In order to avoid delay, it is best to contact the designated testing institution for consultation before testing.
