The normal menstrual cycle is about 28 days, and ovulation occurs two weeks after menstruation begins and two weeks before the next menstruation begins. Most women menstruate once every 28-30 days, but it is still normal to advance or delay for 7 days. The duration of menstruation is generally 3-7 days, and the amount of menstrual bleeding at a time is about 30-50 ml.
But "normal cycle" is only a relative concept, especially for teenagers and women who are about to reach menopause. Almost anything can lead to irregular menstrual cycle, including stress, illness, recent medication or hormonal contraception.
How do women make up menstruation? In fact, we should choose different medicated diets according to different constitutions. The following is a description of the edible medicated diet and matters needing attention for various constitutions.
1) Qi deficiency type
Menstrual cycle is easy to advance, menstrual flow increases, fatigue and weakness, loss of appetite, often accompanied by gastrointestinal digestive dysfunction or diarrhea. Pale face, pale tongue and weak pulse. During treatment, replenish lung qi, exercise moderately and exercise physique.
Take 30g of Radix Astragali, Radix Codonopsis (wrapped in cloth), Rhizoma Dioscoreae and Fructus Jujubae. Cook with water and season with salt. Take out the medicine bag and drink soup. Both yam and jujube can be eaten.
2) Blood deficiency type
Most women with this constitution suffer from anemia, with pale menstrual flow, thin body mass, pale or sallow complexion, easy fatigue, dizziness, palpitation, pale tongue, thin white fur and weak pulse. Usually eat more lean meat, red cabbage or green vegetables such as spinach and sweet potato leaves or iron-rich foods such as apples, cherries and grapes. Treatment should benefit qi and nourish blood.
Radix Rehmanniae Preparata 15g, Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Radix Paeoniae Alba 10g, Rhizoma Chuanxiong 5g, half black-bone chicken, and 3 slices of ginger. Add appropriate amount of water to stew until cooked, and then add chopped green onion to serve.
3) Blood stasis type
Menstruation is easy to delay, with too little menstrual flow or blood clots, and the color of menstrual blood is purple or dark. When menstruation comes, the pain in the lower abdomen is slightly relieved after the blood clot is discharged, or even severe, which is common in patients with endometriosis. Treatment should promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis.
Take motherwort 15g and egg 1 piece. Boil with water. Boil eggs and shell them, eat eggs and drink soup. Treat delayed menstruation or dysmenorrhea.
4) palace cold type
This constitution often happens to women who love to eat cold food. Menstruation is easy to delay, with less menstrual flow or darker color. Some have cold pain in the lower abdomen before or during menstruation, and even turn blue and have cold limbs in severe cases. Hot compress can relieve the pain a little. When the diagnosis is made, it is often found that the tongue is pale, the tongue coating is white and the pulse is tight. It is advisable to warm the meridians to dispel cold, and avoid eating raw and cold food.
Use 15g ginger and 10g mugwort leaf. Decoct with 1 bowl of water until half a bowl is dregs, 1 egg is shelled and stirred, and then take it in soup twice a day (1-2 times) (the dosage of mugwort leaves should not be too much, just 60 grams each time, and if you eat too much, you will have side effects of nausea and vomiting).
5) blood-heat type
Menstruation is easy to advance, with a large amount of menstruation and a thick texture. Usually, it is easy to get upset and thirsty, and it is easy to appear red and swollen. Leucorrhea is yellow and thick, with peculiar smell, red tongue and yellow tongue coating. In addition to genetic factors, this constitution can be caused by staying up late for a long time, staying up late, or being overly emotional at ordinary times, or loving spicy food. Treatment should be based on cooling blood and consolidating menstruation. You can eat celery, lotus root, towel gourd and other cool foods, avoid eating fried, spicy and irritating foods, and go to bed before 1 1 at night.
Take 250 grams of lotus root. Wash and chop, add water to cook, season with oil and salt, and take it regularly.
6) Phlegm-dampness type
Obesity, chest tightness, delayed menstruation or less menstrual flow are often accompanied by more leucorrhea. Eat more white radish, kelp, water chestnut, wax gourd, sea cucumber, sea cucumber skin and other foods. Eat less foods that promote phlegm and dampness such as fat frying. Obese people should eat less and exercise more to lose weight.
Hawthorn, dried tangerine peel and lotus leaf each 10g. Add water to decoct soup, and take juice instead of tea.
7) Liver depression type
Irregular menstrual cycle, easy to be sentimental, irritable or emotionally unstable before menstrual cramps, and prone to breast pain. The tongue is dark, the coating is thin white or thin yellow, and the pulse is string. Common in premenstrual tension syndrome. The treatment should be soothing the liver and relieving depression.
Wash 1 shark slices. Pat Cyperus rotundus, rub it on the fish with shredded ginger, add salt and steam in a steamer for about 40 minutes (not suitable for people who are hot and dry in the body).
8) Kidney deficiency type
It often occurs in congenital physical weakness, when adolescence is not fully mature, or menopause, with menstrual cycle disorder, backache and fatigue, dizziness and tinnitus. Clinically, it is divided into two types: "kidney yin deficiency" and "kidney yang deficiency":
1. Kidney yin deficiency type
Menstrual blood is bright red and sticky, cheeks flush in the afternoon, hands and feet are hot, constipation, red tongue and rapid pulse. You can eat more nourishing foods such as tremella, mulberry, pear, carambola and ebony.
Tremella fuciformis 10g, Lycium barbarum 65438 g, Lily 65438 g, Red Jujube 12, and appropriate amount of rock sugar are taken. Stew with water.
2. Kidney-yang deficiency type
In addition to the above symptoms, it is accompanied by chills, cold hands and feet, frequent urination, and excessive urination at night. You can eat more leek and walnut isothermal food.
60g mutton, 60g japonica rice and cistanche deserticola 10g (cloth). Add a little salt, 2 shallots and 3 slices of ginger to cook porridge (Cistanche deserticola has the effect of moistening intestines, so it is not suitable for diarrhea).
