Harmonious health view

For a long time, people have understood health as "not getting sick", and many people only seek the help of doctors when they are sick. In fact, this view of health is negative and one-sided. Modern people's health concept should be "overall health". Overall health mainly includes three elements: physical health, mental health and social relationship health. The three influence each other, complement each other and are inseparable. Among them, physical health is the foundation, mental health is the important guarantee, and social health is the highest level reflection of human health.

A healthy social relationship is an important guarantee for a healthy modern life. Harmonious interpersonal relationship can shorten the psychological distance between people and produce a good psychological atmosphere and emotional response; Bad interpersonal relationships will increase people's psychological distance and produce bad emotional reactions. Some scholars compare the life span of respondents according to the breadth and quality of their social relationships (whether they are married, the communication density with family and friends, whether they belong to a group, etc.). The results show that regardless of gender and age, the wider the social relationship, the lower the mortality rate. Immunological research after the 20th century also found that people who are depressed, difficult to express their opinions and prone to depression are prone to cancer, while the death of their spouses, indifference to interpersonal relationships, despair and loneliness are the "catalysts" for cancer. Another study shows that family, friendship and social guidance are very important when encountering a major crisis, and interpersonal atmosphere and cohesion in the region are important supports for mental health.

Among all kinds of social relations, family relations are particularly important. Family is not only blood relationship and marriage relationship, but also the cell of society and the most basic living unit of human beings. Whether the family relationship is harmonious or not directly affects the physical and mental health of family members.

Husband and wife are the main body of the family. Dealing with the relationship between husband and wife is the most important thing to maintain family harmony and happiness. In ancient China, the husband and wife "respect each other as guests" was regarded as a virtue, while modern people regarded love as an important link to maintain the relationship between husband and wife. Husband and wife should care about each other, pay attention to communication in thought, and pay attention to care in life. Husbands should not engage in "male chauvinism" and wives should not engage in "madam dictatorship". When there are contradictions between husband and wife, they should be tolerant and considerate of each other. Husband and wife should always fine-tune their feelings and complement each other in their lives, but they should not be inseparable. As the saying goes, intimacy is not as good as intimacy, and zero distance is not as good as intimacy. Keeping a proper distance and space, plus love and tolerance, the relationship between husband and wife will be better.

Similarly, correctly handling the parent-child relationship is also an important guarantee for creating a harmonious family atmosphere. Parents should be measured and principled when they love their children, and they should "love" rather than "spoil". Children should respect their parents and listen to their teachings with an open mind. When parents lose their ability to work, children should take the initiative to undertake the obligation of support, provide financial support, comfort in spirit and take care of their lives, so that parents can feel safe, secure and happy.
