What is the yellow radish in sushi?
The yellow radish in sushi is called sushi radish strip, sushi big root strip, Japanese big root, pickled radish and so on. The "big root" here is the Japanese radish.
This kind of radish can be made simply at home. Just cut the radish into strips and marinate it in salt water for half an hour, then pour the water, sugar and gardenia into the pot to boil, and then take the radish out and marinate it in boiled gardenia water for two nights.
