In a word, Chongqing's port advantage, regional industrial cluster advantage and waterfront environment advantage are important features of "Two Rivers New Area". After the real development of Liangjiang New Area, Fuling, Changshou and Wanzhou still have room for development, and then they will become a continuous industrial belt. Pudong and Binhai are both seaports, and their handling capacity is stronger than that of containers. Although Chongqing is an inland port with a container throughput of only a few million TEUs, it plays a more significant role in driving the western region. At the same time, Binhai New Area is 2,200 square kilometers and Pudong New Area is 500 square kilometers. These two development zones are currently being built with the goal of world-class development zones. Although there is no such momentum in Chongqing Liangjiang New Area, at least at present, there is no similar new area in any province or city in the west.
