Harm of clothing dyes to human body

1. Free formaldehyde on fabric can cause headache, weakness, temperature change, sensory disturbance, irregular perspiration, rapid pulse, dermatitis and skin allergy.

2. Some aromatic amine intermediates left by azo dyes in the process of printing and dyeing synthesis have carcinogenic effects on human body.

3. It is a preservative, which can be used for storage and transportation of cotton fiber and wool, and can also be used as thickener of printing paste. Its toxicity can cause cancer, and the wastewater discharged from washing fabrics with pentachlorophenol will pollute the environment.

4. The possible residual heavy metals in textiles are: mercury, nickel, chromium, lead, arsenic, etc. These heavy metals mainly come from dyes, catalysts and accessories such as buttons and zippers in the printing and dyeing process.
