The improvement of domestic waste incineration capacity in the whole province has laid a solid foundation and provided conditions for Hainan domestic waste landfill to stop receiving domestic waste. At present, our province has carried out relevant work in accordance with the principle of "overall arrangement of the whole province, incremental incineration, gradual consumption of stocks and implementation of source reduction".
The reporter learned that Hainan 16 domestic waste landfill sites all stopped receiving domestic waste. Among them, Qiongzhong County Domestic Waste Landfill Site has stopped using since August 20 17. Since 202 111month1,other 15 domestic waste landfills, including those with surplus storage capacity, will no longer accept the task of harmless treatment of domestic waste.
According to reports, according to the principle of matching the nearest place with the treatment capacity, all the domestic garbage in the province will be transferred to the corresponding incineration power plant for treatment. According to the transportation distance of cities and counties, the processing capacity of eight domestic waste incineration power generation projects and other factors, our province has compiled the service scope of domestic waste in Hainan Province, which has reached the governments of cities and counties and implemented the overall arrangement of domestic waste incineration services in the province. According to the principle of full coverage of garbage incineration, it is ensured that the domestic garbage collected in the whole province is treated by corresponding incineration power plants. After a period of trial operation, the service scope of the incineration plant can be fine-tuned according to the actual situation.
Relevant departments shall, according to actual needs, guide cities and counties to screen and reduce the existing garbage in landfills. For the screened domestic garbage, it can be burned in the incineration plant, which can be recycled, gradually reduce the storage capacity and leachate production of the landfill, and gradually absorb the existing garbage of the landfill.
It is also known that since June this year 10, Haikou, Sanya, Sansha, Danzhou and other cities and counties have implemented garbage sorting. At present, the garbage sorting work in this province is progressing in an orderly manner.
